Forest/tree Question: If McCain attacks Obama and the anti-McCain purist conservatives ignore it, is he doing the right thing?

Yes, we know he was wrong but John, can you take it forward. Instead of leaving it at Barak being wrong, bring it forward and give the nation the scenario as to how Barak would fail in the future. For example, what would Barak do if withdrawl from Iraq lead to chaos in that country?

The next few days are going to be fun!!!

Has it occured to everybody that Obama just isn’t very bright? Today I saw a report where Barry was talking about “the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor”....as though it were one bomb.

He has announced that ten thousand were killed by a tornado in Kansas....

His keepers are going to have to keep him very protected until November....wonder if they can do it?

It isn't nearly enough to say elect me because I have the experience. McCain needs to LOUDLY and CLEARLY outline how his policies will work and how BHO's will fail. McCain needs to make folks understand there is a HUGE price to pay for electing inexperience.

Obama isn’t that smart. If he were that smart, he would have gone from Punahu to Ivy League direct. I would pay a lot to see his SAT scores and has LSat scores. The fact that he can’t string together two sentences without the telepromter is a clue. He is our first racial qouta Presidental candidate.

I think he is very intellegent, just not very wise and willing to say anything and do anything to get elected. I know we tend to say that about a lot of politicians, but Obama seems to be a text book case.

The thing is, many people don’t care. It is very odd.

Yes, and this is an important point to consider.

He isn't that bright and neither are many (most?) of his followers.
Obama supporters are running on feelings and emotion.

They will not be swayed by factual arguments.
That is why McCain cannot win by appealing to logic or by debating the issues.
It also doesn't help that there is very little real difference in their position on the issues:

McCain wants to drill for oil and Barack doesn't.
McCain wants to pull troops out of Iraq at a slower pace than Barack.
That's about it.

What dummy is scheduling McCain’s visits? He finally listened to the idea of visiting energy sites while Obama is overseas and where do they pick to go? To an oil rig in the Gulf with a storm brewing. So what happens? They have to cancel. With a thousand places they could have went these dumb nuts pick the most vulnerable one. I hate to admit it but we have some real idiots on our team.

Yes, I think you nailed it. He is more of an empty suit than Kerry was. Same arrogant delivery, same talking in circles and same flip flop.

He is like a puppet someone used for the past 20 years and now he has to actually think on his feet.

Remember his first election to office was unopposed, his campaign for the House he lost, his run at the Senate was against a carpetbagger because the opponent who would have beat him dropped out.

McCain has to keep up these kind of hard hitting attacks. He needs to point out the traitor Democrats want to lose the War on Terror, want genocide in Israel, and want America to become an Islamic state governed by sharia law. That is what needs to be done for McCain to win: Tell the Truth.

Therein lies the problem. McCain may finally be showing some fire, but will the mainstream media cover it? As Howie Carr said on his radio show today, the media's coverage of McCain is about the same level that Bob Barr is receiving.

It would seem that the MSM, after spending significant time with Obama, have realized he's not all that bright and is basically building his resume for the job of President while running for it. To cover for their guy, they plan on blatantly blocking McCain's media access and perhaps giving the impression that McCain isn't even trying (otherwise they'd cover it...wink wink).

Will it work? This election may be a referendum on the MSM as well as on whether America wants to tumble into outright socialism. I hope America kicks the MSM in the teeth and shows Obama the door. I loathe John McCain, but the alternative is unthinkable.

Re “Obama looks and acts like a 12 year old.”

Guess that explains why so many little kids and voting age teens and twenty-somethings can’t wait to vote for him — saying things like “he’s cool” and “he’s like us.”

Now that’s really sad if a 46 year old MAN is deemed to be “like us” (a bunch of under 30 types.) How is he like them? Other than being an arrogant no-nothing, that is...

Weh, weh, let me put it this way. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, We’re — we’re trying to — you know, we’ve got a bipartisan group here and — and — and, uh, uh, uh, uh, um, uh, uh, uh.
