This is stupid. Question: What is the energy consumption to scrub the CO2 in relation to the amount of CO2 removed?

In the apple industry, we have been removing CO2 from tightly closed rooms for decades to reduce the O2 and CO2 levels so apples can be stored for long periods. After going through the growing pains with inefficient, expensive equipment the industry now injects N into the rooms to bring the O2 down. This also reduces the level of CO2 to generally less than .5%.

As the apples ripen they give off ethelyne gas which raises the CO2 levels. Rather than use expensive and fuel inefficient scrubbers, we not use hydrated lime to passively scrub the CO2 and keep the levels reduced.

The negative response from the left isn't surprising. But i think the problem with left has with the co2 scrubber may just be a marketing issue...

If the Columbia university Scientist where to market this new breakthrough in the following manor. I am sure the left would hop on board with this new tech......

First they should not call it a carbon scrubber.... but a carbon aborter...

What kind of a dumb a** would want to remove a valuable plant food from the atmosphere? Does anyone in the US have an education at all? Haven’t they heard of trees and plants? Since when is CO2 harmfull to earth? I can’t believe anyone would fall for this especially leaders of countries. The peta type Vegans are now saying that cow flatulence is far worse than cars a single cow produces 100-200 liters of methane and the same amount of CO2 (other "experts" say 800-1000 liters) a cow weighs 1200 to 1500 lbs.A Vegan dinosaur that weighs 130 t0 150 tons would produce 11,447.2 gallons of methane enough to power all my vehicles for a year.
