This is not, and has never been about CO2 levels and protecting the planet. It’s about control. Nothing but control.

I do love the development of technologies like this, because they expose the true motives of the Left.

You guys are calling them lunatics and out of their minds.

Nope, they’re simply

FASCISTS

that want to control you. This is exposing them, and that’s what needs to be done - exposing their true agenda.

Scientists at Columbia University are developing a carbon dioxide (CO2) scrubber device that removes one ton of CO2 from the air every day, says the Heartland Institute.

And how much energy is squandered doing this to placate environmental obsessives?
Looks like another madcap scheme like "carbon sequestration"

That is because CO2 was never perceived as the problem in the first place. It was anybody making a buck out of the conversion of hydrocarbons in any form to carbon dioxide and water they find so unappealing.

Some 99.95% of the "fears" expressed are based on some very bad interpretations taken from a poorly researched "science" fiction novel.

“But this finally shows what they want to happen. They want us to completely stop burning fossil fuels.”

I disagree since they also oppose non-fossil fuels. The are against modern technology and the use of energy in general. Their utopia is a hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Which only shows that it is all NOT about CO2 or global warming.

“The problem for self described “environmentalists” is other people’s prosperity, not carbon. Carbon is a pretext.”

Yes. Evil capitalist pigs profit from selling carbon based energy, so if they outlaw carbon, they eliminate evil profits.

The true motives are exposed. I say we just start running over them evil enviroweenies and force their lifestyle back to the cave era since that appears to be their motive for everyone else.

Indeed He did. Amazing how He seemed to think of everything when he put this little planet together. :-)

NORPLANT! Yep, they wanted to catch the does, and give them Norplant as a form of birth control!

Can't we do that to the greenies?

That should go over well...

This is one more proof that the enviro-weenies want to eliminate more than CO2. They want to eliminate Capitalism.

The only Capitalism they understand is Das Capitol

" These a$$hats are going to end up messing up the CO2 levels such that the trees/plants will start dying "

It just proves that the environmentalist are not actually concerned about the environment.... that are politically motivated more than they are motivated about protecting the environment.
Their true agenda is the destruction of the US economy, and the destruction of the US military capability.
The environmentalist movement is just a mask and just another repackaged Marxism, just like Feminism is just another mask of Marxism.

The Greenies will tell you quite frankly that the “ideal” population for the Earth is only about 5% of what it is now. Of course, they, as our betters, will get ot decide which 5% that will be...

The Norplant would have been far more effective had it been administered to their mothers.

Feminism is just another mask of Marxism

Yes, but it is also just a bunch of juveniles shaking their fists at God because they don't like the role into which they were created.

Isa 3:12 My people! Their oppressors are children, And women rule over them

Notice the bible mentions feminism in the same context as rebellious children.

There main objective is to make the “Haves” give their earned rewards to the “have-nots” for no compensation.
This scrubber idea does not achieve this.

Their utopia is a hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

I disagree. They're against hunting. :)

Their ultimate fantasy is the end of the human race by some sort of Gaia-based "counter-attack" on us as punishment for our sins.
