i"Time to accept reality-What’s done is done."

Oh, so make it easy for them to do it again elsewhere by not bothering them with "pesky protests"?

Why don't you just say, "Resistance is futile -- you will be assimilated" since that is your point.

Thanks to unchecked immigration of illegal aliens from Albania, mostly criminals and/or Moslems, Kosovo has been turned into a place worse than any slum in the US.

But the Serbs aren’t quitters, you see. They will reverse this tide and restore the rule of law to their land of Kosovo-Metohija.

The exact same things that we in the US must do with the illegal immigrants taking over our Southwest.

Deport those who have entered the country illegally, apply the rule of law to the area, preserving the rights of all legal residents (Albanians, Jews, Roma, Serb, and Turk), and recognizing the international borders of Serbia.

For starters, the U.S. Will NEVER deport 20 million illegals... It’s a non-starter... As for Kosovo, most of them were born there... I mean, let’s get real, who would want to emigrate to Kosovo??? I’m sure the world is clamoring to see the Serbs kick out a million or two Albs just so they can populate it with Serbs... Can you say ethnic cleansing, revisited??? Cause that’s how the world would see it, and they wouldn’t be wrong

For starters, the U.S. Will NEVER deport 20 million illegals... It’s a non-starter...

So we don't deport any illegals just because there's too many? Deporting 1-2 million wouldn't help?

As for Kosovo, most of them were born there...

I'm only talking about deporting those who entered illegally.

I mean, let’s get real, who would want to emigrate to Kosovo???

Some 400,000 Albanians who were either trying to escape Xohxa's regime or the economic collapse that followed. Plus an additional number of criminals and Jihadists who have used NATO's blunder to move into an uncontrolled region.

I’m sure the world is clamoring to see the Serbs kick out a million or two Albs just so they can populate it with Serbs...

Some of us don't believe we should apply a Global Test to everything that we do. And the repopulation would not be just with Serbs, but with all of the people dislocated by the KLA thugs, including Jews, Roma, Turks, and non-Moslem Albanians.

Can you say ethnic cleansing, revisited???

Going right to the "hot-button" terms and misuing them, I see. No sir, we'd be stopping the Albanian ethnic-cleansing that's been going on for decades and begin to reverse it.

Cause that’s how the world would see it, and they wouldn’t be wrong

Yes, they would be. Ignorance of the facts doesn't alter them.

Heres what bothers me. If Serbia joins the E.U. and turns its back on Kosovo aren’t they going to be renouncing much of what makes them unique.

The heart of Serbian intellectual, cultural, religious and economic life is Belgrade and the surrounding Serbian heartland. Kosovo has mythological value, sure, but even before 2000, there were only about 200,000 Serbs living in Kosovo- the province has not had any real influence on Serbian identity in a long time.

Perhaps, which is why the Serbs are better off being rid of Kosovo. It's poor, backwards, undeveloped and the large majority of people who live there don't like Serbs very much. Why would Serbia want to be shackled to a corpse any longer?

But the Serbs aren’t quitters, you see. They will reverse this tide and restore the rule of law to their land of Kosovo-Metohija.

How is that going to work? Do you think the people in Serbia have any interest in sending their sons to die in Kosovo? Please. If you think that, you have no idea what people in Serbia are actually concerned about these days,

You are proposing displacing how many hundreds of thousands of people? That would destabilize the entire region- it would probably plunge Albania-proper into chaos. There is no way any of Serbia's neighbors, or Europe, or the US, will ever allow something like that to happen. And I can guaranty that the Albanians in Kosovo would not accept displacement quietly. Your proposed course of action would be an utter disaster for the Balkans and would guaranty NATO intervention, again.

The liberals say the exact same thing about the Mexicans and other Central Americans who have illegally entered into the United States. The claims of some of them to be part of a "Reconquista" movement to "take back Aztlan" are a perfect parallel to what has been done to the Serbs in Kosovo.

I'm not talking about "displacing" people but returning them to their homeland.

Not really. And the situation is different- In Kosovo, we're not talking about people who have been there a few years. We're talking about a population that has been there for decades.

I'm not talking about "displacing" people but returning them to their homeland.

Nonsense. You're talking about ethnically cleansing people who have lived in Kosovo for decades, if not centuries. You think the Kosovars will go peacefully? You think Albania will accept hundreds of thousands of refugees?

You are misrepresenting what I have said. I specifically referred to the recent illegal immigrants.

You're talking about ethnically cleansing people who have lived in Kosovo for decades, if not centuries.

Again, you are misrepresenting what I have said. If anything, the illegal immigrants from Albania have been conducting an ethnic cleansing terror campaign, including rape and murder, against the Serb, Jew, and Roma residents of Kosovo.

When you are ready to stop telling lies about what I have actually said, let me know.

You’re proposing going into what’s a country separate from Serbia...

Wrong, I'm talking about the Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija, check the UN-recognized borders.

And I see you've slipped into personal abuse, which a sure sign that you've admitted you're defeat.

Jeez, you guys always whine about being victims... The world knows the Serbs were the aggressors during all of the 90s wars.. The world’s not buying your propoganda... Luckily, the pro-west Serb gov’t is much more level-headed, and making positive strides.

"You think Albania will accept hundreds of thousands of refugees?"

It sounds horrible, but why not? Serbia already has had well over a million refugees between the wars in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo came through and only about half moved on. Around 500,000 still there -- Serbia has the largest number of refugees of any country in Europe.

But getting the Albanians to leave isn't the problem, getting NATO to leave is.
