Olbermann calls Bud Day a "clown" - (see the 1:18 mark of the video)
Vile MSNBC Obamabot Keith Olbermann has outdone even himself with his "Worst Person in the World" segment tonight. He gave that award to America's most decorated living veteran, Bud Day, calling him a "clown" because he said recently he was not prepared to bow the knee to the "Muslims," referring to Muslim terrorists who seek to destroy America. Olbermann went nuts on Day, calling him a racist and religious hater. Of course, Olbermann never mentioned that Day is America's most decorated living veteran, and did not show one ounce of deference for a man who has given so much for his country.
Every American should demand that MSNBC/NBC force Olbermann to apologize for speaking of this great man in such a disrespectful fashion. Every single night, Olbermann shows America who the "clown" is -- and it is not Bud Day.
NOTE: Olbermann's colleague at NBC, Tom Brokaw, did a great interview with Bud Day a while back, and I'm sure he does not consider Bud Day to be a "clown." I suggest everyone write Tom Brokaw and urge him to use his influence at NBC to force Olbermann to apologize publicly for talking about this great man in such a disrespectful way.

Never happen. The sheep don’t care.
Olbermans day is coming.
What a vile man. BTW, where can one find cable news ratings? I’d love to see how he’s doing.
When has a liberal ever been brought to reckoning? never.
Someone remind me of Keith Olbermann’s military background. [hundreds of crickets chirping]
There was a time where disrespect of this caliber resulted in an instant ass beating and an “education” that was reserved for pond scum like Olbermann in situations such as these.
There’s a few down in Texas I know of that wouldn’t even need to be asked. It’s pretty obvious they’re few and far between nowadays.
Sending a message now regardless of its chances at making any measurable difference.
It sounds like BO has Olbermann’s leg tingling too.
I hope so, I’m getting pretty darn tired of his crap.
overpuke reminds me of the liberal-socialists on campus when we vets came for school on the gi bill during vietnam.
they said the same, hateful things to us. we hung together.
Keith Olbermanns sum-total pre-ESPN history is predominantly being stuffed in lockers.
Richard Simmons could kick his ass.
You are correct. If the sheep id care asses such as this would not be on t.v.
I say that he is an ass but I have never seen him as I do not watch much t.v. Cops, America’s Most Wanted, sometimes a football, baseball game or auto race and that is about it. I have read on Free Republic things attributed to him and in my opinion he is an ass.
I stopped watching netwok news during the Clinton regime. I stopped watching shows such “Law and Order” because the bad guy was always a white Viet Nam veteran, a gun owner or collector, or a Christian fantic shortly afterward. Haven’t missed either one.
With Olberman’s ego... the cruelest attack would be to let him and his network know we think he is “ not good looking enough to be an anchor”
This is outrageous. I hear that from Olberman and get very afraid because he has been doing this kind of talk for along time and NBC has not removed his show.
This is what will happen if the Democrats win in November. Hate. Fear. Shut down speech from anyone who disagrees.
I'm sure his viewers number well into the hundreds.
Who’s Dan Rather?
No, there is a more appropriate responce...
| This message is in regards to Olbermann's comments regarding George "Bud" Day. That any American can get up on TV and spout anything but the utmost respect for a decorated veteran and long-serving member of our armed forces is an absolute disgrace. Both Olbermann and the staff at MSNBC should be ashamed for allowing it to happen without repercussions. Read up on him if you can stomach it: http://www.conservapedia.com/George_%22Bud%22_Day I don't expect you or anyone else in your office to be able to properly appreciate this man's service to the country and the sacrifices he made so imbeciles like Olbermann can get on TV and spew the kind of vile bullshit he's become so famous for. I don't know why I should be surprised though. It's not like any of you are known for respecting the very people who have volunteered to provide you with the freedoms you take for granted, meanwhile doing everything you can to demean and diminish their work, their accomplishments and their tireless protection of all we hold dear. |
That guy is amazing. Never much cared for Brokaw, but that was fantastic.
Olbermann has made MSNBC a joke forever. They will never be able to come across as some sort of unbiased news source.
The idiot cannot croak soon enough.
Whereas Olberman is willing to go down on his knees for just about anything and anyone.
Olberman is the reason that I will NOT have cable television in my home. Colonel Day is a personal friend of my family. Olby is trash.
mrs
I stand corrected. I like your description better anyway.
March 4, 1976 - President Gerald Ford presents the Medal of Honor to James B. Stockdale (l) and George E. "Bud" Day.
Hey Mag,
If you can provide? Let me know how much. I’ll send you a check and we’ll send the Colonel a hat to wear out to the mall on Saturday.
mrs
He didn’t call him “nappy-headed” so he’s probably safe.
Dead solid perfect response. Thanks for sharing your superb criticism of this worthless piece of sh-t.

Now there is a REAL, SUBSTANTIVE sign of the to-the-core fear
Olberman has of A REAL MAN.

I’m NOT a McCain fan...respect the guy, dislike plenty of his points-
of-view.
But I (VOA) will likely vote for McCain this fall MOSTLY BECAUSE
of Col. Bud Day.
Because I read the book written by Robert Corum on the life of
Col. Bud Day (amazon link below).
Day’s description of the McCain he knew in The Hanoi Hilton has plenty
of negatives: a loudmouth that’s “always playing to the crowd”,
a braggart about his extra-marital affairs, etc.
BUT, having seen Col. Bud Day at a podium endorsing McCain in the
Iowa primary campaign...
if Col. Bud Day decides McCain is the guy to support...
he’s the one for me as well.
er uhh Dan Rather??
Re you knowing Bud. You are lucky to have him as a friend.
To Keith Olbersturmfurher:
I know Bud Day, and you’re no Bud Day.
You’re not even close to being one of his socks.
He took more crap from the Communists in one day in the Hanoi Hilton than you could take in a lifetime, but being the coward that you are, you will never serve our country in any capacity. (Maybe someone else’s).
My wife and I still watch Law and Order, just to see how much liberal crap they can try to squeak past us. Almost like participating in a game show. ;-)
Bud Day is one of the men that make America great. olbermann is not.(the little pansy isn’t even allowed in the same sentence).
I have the deepest respect for men like Bud Day. It’s what makes it so hard to take other people to task, who have served in the military. And yet, it is the very reason why I do take men who are less than Bud Day to task, because they don’t deserve to be thought of the same way as Bud Day.
Keith Olbermann is an unfortunate man. He has his own talk show. He has been given every opportunity, and the best he can do quite often is make himself look like an illiterate fool. He has no intelligence. He’s been given a gift and doesn’t know what to do with it.
Bud Day is a decent man. He has a sterling career and life. He doesn’t deserve pot shots from the likes of Olbermann. But then when Olbermann dumps on you, it’s generally a good thing. It mean you are a good person. It means you do have class. I means that you deserve the respect of the Citizens of the United States.
That’s something that Olbermann won’t have. He may have a few million listeners on a good day, but a good portion of the 300 million citizens know a good man when they see one. When they look at Bud Day, they know.
And when they hear of someone disparaging him, they know.
Keith, you are a little bitter freak of a pretender.
Bud Day never had to pretend a moment in his life. He’s the real deal, and you are the real heel.
Ole Keith Olberman needs to be taken out behind the barn for a major attitude adjustment.
Just looking at ole Keith would lead anyone to believe that he is nothing more than a loud mouthed pantie waisted maggot disguised as a human.
The simple Oberman is nothing more than a guy hired by MSNBC to throw red meat to its (tiny) liberal goofball audience. I cannot understand why anybody would give the slightest rat’s behind what he says, and I already regret bumping a thread that has his name in the title - - thread titles here at FR are about the only publicity that pantload gets. I won’t do it again.
He’s 4-F. He wsa in a car accident as a kid and has no depth perception. He can’t even drive. That probab;y has made him bitter his whole life.
That is perfect. I knew he was a POS the first time I ever accidently watched him for a few seconds. It took me about 5 seconds to say “what the hell” and flip the channel in disgust.
Just don’t watch MSNBC and they will be forced to change their content Obviously some conservative fools are watching Olberman or his ratings would not be sustained.
I will spend no time hating this man Olberman, as he isn’t worth my precious time. I do condemn his juvenile and hatred filled attitude, and doubt his sincerity. He seems to be a tortured soul, without real direction, other than some sort of reflexive quasi-leftist agenda he thinks he is following. He is to be pitied, but I have better things to do.
Keith Olberfurher couldn’t hold Bud Day’s hat. What a joke of a human being.
