Woman allegedly handed over fake documents to be screened for a job.
HAMILTON — An illegal immigrant was arrested this week in the lobby of the Butler County Sheriff's Office when she allegedly passed fake identification while trying to get a background check for a job, according to sheriff's officials.
Genesis Mahelet Garcia-Garcia, 25,(photo) of Sixth Avenue in Hamilton was arrested Wednesday, July 16. She is charged with two counts of forgery and one count of identity fraud.
She is in the country from Mexico illegally, according to deputies. Garcia-Garcia is being held in the Butler County Jail and faces possible deportation.
Deputies said Garcia-Garcia walked into the lobby, went to the public assistance window and filled out paperwork using a fraudulent name and date of birth. She then passed a fraudulent Illinois identification card and a fraudulent Social Security card to the clerk, officials said.
The clerk recognized the cards as fraudulent and contacted a member of the Criminal Alien Team in the detective section of the sheriff's office, officials said.
Garcia-Garcia told detectives she admitted to purchasing the cards about two years ago for $180 in Hamilton.
She had essentially assumed the identity of the individual, whose information she had purchased, after obtaining the fraudulent cards, according to deputies.
"It was a good eye on the part of the clerk," Sgt. Todd Langmeyer said.
The identification Garcia-Garcia is accused of passing was not of good quality, Langmeyer said. The word Illinois was blurred on the card.
"We have found some pretty good quality IDs. This was not one of them," he said.
The lady has nerve, gotta give her that. I wonder how many had good enough ID to get hired.

Maybe one of the parents is related to the other (cousin?).

I was beside myself and finally asked a Trooper why these people were not being arrested for the three crimes they were committing (possession of forged documents, Identity theft, and attempting to obtain an official document with forged papers). The Trooper laughed and said that if they did that the jails would be full and they would not be able to patrol the Highways. He also said that they were prevented from getting the ID so they had done their job.
If we deport first, then a lot of this is solved.

Actually, I find the name “Genesis” even more interesting.
Another in a long, long, long line of Mexicans who have invaded my country and scammed it. I want them all out of here, and all other illegals, as well. Now.

LOL. Of all the counties in the country, the Sheriff of Butler County, Ohio is just as tough on illegal aliens as Sheriff Joe.
Really, how many law enforcement agencies across the nation even have a Criminal Alien Team?
Her job is to have the anchor babies and collect the public assistance.
Her husbands job is to use stolen identification and get a cash paying job.
Together, they have two incomes, free medicaid, free food stamps, free housing assistance, and so on.
If they get caught and are deported, they just re-enter and buy a new identity.
Of course there's always that pesky problem of getting caught
