Former Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft answered questions about his role in the drafting of detainee interrogation rules. In his opening statement, Ashcroft admitted that he had "limited recollection" of the events pertinent to the committee's inquiry.

Solicitor General, Walter Dellinger, even tho those critters questioning will make you wanna scream. I WANTED TO KISS KELLER! HE LAYS out the 'torture' issue in his questioning with such perfection, you'll be cheering.

God bless him ... I saw it this am, and WILL call his office to congratulate and encourage him. He was fantastic .. so was Mike Pence and Steve Chabot, I believe.

I have been watching this rerun since it began.

I was troubled by the part where it was said that it is torture to make a subject think they are in danger of losing their life when they are not ever harmed and never in any real danger of losing their life. I don’t think that is torture and I would have no trouble doing such a thing.

Yes, amen - Keller is stellar! Watching it now - all these good guys have done a great job under fire from such liberal, unpatriotic, ignorant dolts. And, being from the same state as John Ashcroft (he was our governor some years ago), I believe he also did well (letting his anger show somewhat-good!), having to state over and over that waterboarding as was carried out, is NOT torture, NOT illegal and IS often used in the training of certain of our military. Has been for some time. I know JA was frustrated at having to try educating such mental children on this whole interrogation issue.

I’m so very disturbed and discouraged at the number of people in power, highly visible and highly vocal, who are hell-bent on smearing our country as the world watches. Don’t they get that if they succeed in bringing down the U.S., they’ll no longer have the freedom of ranting and spouting off against it? Don’t they???
