At least half, maybe most of the Israelis don’t have a real reason to live in Israel, let alone fight for it.
The only justification would be that the soldiers’ families wanted their bodies back. I am sick over the whole deal and at how little human life means to those people. Not that they consider Israelis or Christians ‘human.’
I’m so baffled by this... I’m speechless. Why did the Israeli cabinet think that trading murders for dead bodies was a good idea? My heart is just so broken that the good guys are SO freaking bent on appeasement. It doesn’t get much worse than this trade. The terrorist get everything they want and Israel gets nothing....
Did they feel like they had no choice or something? Did they think this would make them look good in the international community? What?

Propose away. I’m not real familiar with inter-Israeli politics but things don’t look good for your proposals. Likely, all those guys will be given medals and asked to murder Israeli kids in exchange for promising to return their bodies.

The only problem is none of those people are in position to make decisions in Israel or here. How did this happen? How did we get so bad so fast?
Who are the vile bastards who conducted a campaign to make this trade? The families? If so they should be ashamed of themselves. It is just despicable. If this were my son’s remains I would sooner see them tossed into the sea then traded for a vicious murderer and terrorist. SHAME! Israel has sinned a great sin.
I do not have any understanding of Jewishness or Jewish law, but why the f would Israel do something so stupid? I do not mean to sound insensitive, but Mrs. Regev and Mrs. Goldwaser look really selfish.
Well, at least it’s a fair trade.
Two dead Israeli soldiers ARE worth more than twice as many live terrorists.
But in all seriousness, I am sad to hear the news, and I hope, as I surmised, that the soldiers did not suffer, but were killed early on and their supposed “captivity” just a ruse.
May they rest in peace and may God bless their families abundantly.
