Yesterday, Sen. John McCain stood strong for Secure Borders when he responded to a question from radical LaRaza activist Enrique Morones:
Morones, a member of Borders Angels, accused the US of killing ten thousand people on the border with our militarization and demanded that McCain disavow border security. McCain gave him a very testy reply.

Morones? Is that Spanish for moron?
I dislike Juan McCain.
I distrust Juan McCain.
The man makes my skin crawl.
But he done good here.
I don’t see “Morons?” whining about how the Mexican troops treat the people invading their nation from the south.

Well, just darn! What a nice development!
Morones? Is that Spanish for moron?
More than one.....
I must say I am surprised. This wasn’t the result I expected. Good work, Senator.
McCain Stands Strong for Secure Borders
Where was McNasty a year ago or two years ago? Strong for WHO?
The illegals that cross it?
I guess Juan finally got tired of the “Don’t Ask McCain” video floating out there on the web, so he decided to do a counter balance act by telling this La Raza dufus to kiss off.
I still have never heard McCain say Deport Illegal Aliens.
Your right.. there is more comprehensive immigration plans coming forward... this scares me..
Build the fence. Stop pandering to racists.
Good for McCain. And in the proverbial lion’s den, too.
So did Obama and Hillary.
Dream Act...
La Raza questioner:
“Hi, I’m part of One Dream 2009...Will you support humanity all the around the world
and support our Dream Act that we are trying to pass?”
McCain: “Yes. Yes. “

Whats Spanish for `screw-ball?
Jorge.....
Yea, we know you are too hard headed to admit your mistakes.
I know that not all Americans have prospered in the global economy. And for those who, through no fault of their own, have lost their job to foreign competition, I have proposed a comprehensive reform of our unemployment insurance and worker retraining programs.
Proposed? You ain't gonna do squat for American Citizens but you can't stop kissing illegals collective butts.
I and many other colleagues twice attempted to pass comprehensive immigration legislation to fix our broken borders; ensure respect for the laws of this country; recognize the important economic contribution of immigrant laborers; apprehend those who came here illegally to commit crimes; and deal practically and humanely with those who came here, as my distant ancestors did, to build a better, safer life for their families, without excusing the fact they came here illegally or granting them privileges before those who have been waiting their turn outside the country.
Wrong-o punk. That is exactly and precisely what you "comprehensive immigration reform" was going to do. It was amnesty pure, plane and simple.
Oh by the way little juan, did I happen to mention just how much I like being LIED to?
I did so not just because I believed it was the right thing to do for Hispanic Americans criminal illegal alien lawbreakers.
Yep. Because you don't do flip for American Citizens. Americans that are of Hispanic descent do not need an amnesty you fool.
I don't want to fail again to achieve comprehensive immigration reform.
Noooooooooo kidding. You are so dumb as to stand there and say out loud and in front of witnesses that you truly believe American Citizens are too stupid to know what your "comprehensive immigration reform" will do to this country? What an arrogant punk you are.
I represent Arizona where Spanish was spoken before English was
And that is exactly where you need to drag your sorry azz back to.
I know many of you are Democrats, and many of you would usually vote for the presidential candidate of that party.
Yep. About 2 - 1 dem. But you little juan, really are so totally clueless that you can not realize that outfits like "The Race" (la raza) are playing you like a little tin drum. They will not change their historical voting pattern because the Great and Mighty Juan got them in the back door with amnesty.
But they will be more than glad to use their new voting muscle to toss you or any real American in the trash and call you ...
Does anyone know if he critized the group for its racist name? If he’s going to speak to a racist group, he should at least be on record criticizing its racism.
The San Fernando Valley is a part of Los Angeles. In the foothills you have the wealthier homes, and in the valley you have the scum of the earth, thats were I live. There are a few affluent neighborhoods in the valley but most suck and our mayor is on a mission to increase the suckinest of the valley. Only when everyone in Los Angeles has all their kids in a private school will Villar be happy.
There are maybe 2 dozen cities in the San Fernando Valley and Villar controls them all. In the north valley the Asians have moved in. They are industrious and demand good grades from their kids. In the south we have people from the middle East and Russia. They are more affluent and demand good grades from their kids. In the East we have the Armenians, violent people but with very cute women. They are very much isolationists (racist). In the west we have a mixture with most of them being what is left of Americans.
The Daily News has a very good article about the flatlanders of the San Fernando Valley and here is a link.

For some reason, McCain only sees the illiterate illegal alien and panders to them. Industrious illegal aliens and Americans he has no use for.
Here are the sections of the speech that refer to la raza...
I'm very pleased to be with you again to discuss some of the issues in this campaign that most concern you. As you know, this isn't my first address to La Raza. I'm proud to have worked hard over the years with many friends here and elsewhere to make sure Americans of Hispanic heritage are appreciated for their contributions to the prosperity, security and culture of the United States, and to improve opportunities for your continued success, not for your sake alone but for the benefit of the entire nation. I also want to thank La Raza's former CEO, Raul Yzaguirre, for being here today, and for the privilege of over twenty years of friendship and counsel he has so generously given me.
La Raza runs one of the largest housing counseling programs in the country that has helped tens of thousands of Latinos become homeowners with secure mortgages. But millions of Americans have been hurt by the mortgage crisis and falling home values, and many in the Hispanic community have been especially hard hit.
La Raza has helped establish 50 new charter schools and the results they are producing are very encouraging. Hispanics work hard and sacrifice a lot because their most cherished dreams are the ones they hold for their children.
I can almost hear it from my desk at work...
SMMMMMMACK-O LEFT CHEEK ... SMMMMMMOOOOCH-O RIGHT CHEEK!
Sorry, but I am not persuaded that McCain has changed his spots.
As calcowgirl said a couple of hours after your post: "After listening to the audio of McCain's Q&A yesterday with La Raza, I think we are being set up. He kept saying that "we need to enforce the borders first." But what does that really mean and how will they demonstrate it?"
"McCain has said he will ask the (pro-illegal immigrant liberal) border state governors to "certify" that the borders are secure. They seem to be laying the groundwork for a pending announcement: "The borders are now secure!" No new laws, no fence, no nothing--just a huge upcoming propaganda program hyping recent enforcement actions and a statement from Schwarzenegger, Richardson and their cronies that "The border problem is solved!"
I concur completely with her comments. McCain is bad enough by himself. I certainly don't trust Arnold on anything. And Richardson is only marginally "less worse".
BTTT!
Meanwhile, Scarface meets behind closed doors with Hispanic activists around the nation, intimating that they have a “friend”, which is code for AMNESTY, and he has yet to fire, and in fact has emboldened, OPEN BORDERS close assistant Juan Hernandez.
Hey, I didn’t say the guy was great or even good. One of the “blind squirrel” moments.
Two years ago when it came up he voted for the border fence.
Where is it today?
In the hands of the Executive branch and the Department of Homeland Security. It's no longer an issue for the Congress; funds have been allocated and the project is approved. It is up to DHS to execute on the bill and financing.
And if you go to the DHS website, you'll find out they are on track to complete 670 miles by the end of this year. It's been in the news quite a bit in terms of environmental and legal challenges which the Department is now overriding because they were given that waiver authority this year.
Honestly, the fence is being built, it's nearly complete (710 miles were authorized, we'll have 670 of them this year), and the President and DHS are using all the waiver powers they can to move it as fast as possible. Like it or not, we are a nation of laws, and every person who is affected by the fence can attempt legal maneuvers to slow it down.
But to blame the fence's progress on Senator McCain is disingenuous at best...
