Shoot the blame at the voters of... California. Don't blame me, I voted for Romney--my third choice. Since my first two choices, Hunter and Thompson were going nowhere, I figured Romney represented our only hope of stopping McCain.

My choices were the same, Hunter, then Fred and third Romney. This primary season seem to have candidates that didn't pursue it full out (Hunter) or didn't seen to have his heart in it (Fred). I'll say again that Romney was more conservative than McCain, plus he had the experience that we need now in leadership ability and economic knowledge.
McCain lacks in all three of these areas, however it is either him or a socialist cum communist. Not good for the country or its citizens.
I don't believe the convention will "toss McCain under the bus" and give us a better candidate.
