I wish someone would post an email or physical address so as a NC resident and paid his salary I can personally voice my opinion to him directly.

“Eason decided to retire rather than pay tribute to Helms.”

At full pension, I’m sure. It takes a big man to stand on principle when it costs him nothing.

Burger King beckons.

They fly the flag, too.

Real simple... Employee you don’t make the decisions. Therefore, you are fired.

He looks like a typical liberal full of hate for his own race. I wish they would demote him prior to his actual retirement and take away some of his pension.

The POS is probably psychotic with self created and imposed “white guilt.”

Jesse Helms was a man of honor and integrity, who treated everyone firm, but fair in his dealings.

The Bottom Line,
NSNR

“Regardless of any executive proclamation, I do not want the flags at the North Carolina Standards Laboratory flown at half staff to honor Jesse Helms any time this week,” Eason wrote just after midnight, according to e-mails released in response to a public records request.

Sounds like this man was trying to get his 15 mins. of fame.... and lost.

Superficially it would appear that way if you didn’t know the facts.

Indentured servants during the 17th and 18th centuries were treated like the black and Indian slaves, and even housed with them. The mortality rate for indentured slaves was a bit more than 80%!! The odds of living until freedom was small.

When a superior ordered the lab to follow the order, Eason decided to retire rather than pay tribute to Helms.

Who has no brains and now works at McDonald's?

It’s the only job the 51-year-old had since graduating from college. He worked there for 29 cushy years.

He called it ‘his’ lab.

LF Eason III, a 29-year veteran of the state Department of Agriculture and life-long Democrat

There are no rules for them. Or, at least, that is how they think.

In almost 30 years of working for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, L.F. Eason III apparently thought of his small Raleigh laboratory as his own domain. “I designed and built that lab, “ Eason said. “Even though technically the bricks and mortar belong to the state of North Carolina, I feel very strongly that everything that comes out of there is my responsibility.”
