Barack Obama has published an enemies list and conspiracy web on his presidential campaign website, Fight the Smears.
The site lists conservative activists David Bossie, Floyd Brown, Bob Perry, Craig Shirley, Bruce Hawkins and James Lacy.
The Obama campaign posted an accompanying graphic that lays out a web of connections between the conservatives, groups they represent and their efforts opposing liberals, including "Swift Boat", "Clinton Impeachment" and "Willie Horton Ad".
The text never connects any of those listed to 'smears' against Obama, but instead lists their politcal sins such as working with the Minutemen, Ann Coulter, Gary Aldrich, donating to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and running the Willie Horton ad. The worst that the Obama campaign says is that Bruce Hawkins was recently disbarred in Washington state.
Usually, paranoid presidents wait until they assume office before they compile their enemies list for their myrmidons to act on. Nixon had his infamous enemies list, the Clinton's had their "The Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce."
Barack Obama has set a new standard for paranioa. And he hasn't even been formally nominated yet.

I don’t know who is worse — Mao, Stalin or Obama? This guy is a RADICAL ANTI-AMERICAN COMMIE who is out to identify ANY AMERICAN who does not subscribe to his totalitarian, socialist, insane, anti-American dogma.
This is beyond belief and comprehension that this kind of oppression and harassment is TOLERATED IN A FREE AMERICA.
I personally thought that the Willie Horton ad was one of the best ever. It was true and effective.
White guilt apologists balked even within conservative, let alone GOP circles. Yet, it is common and accepted for the Dems to run the fake “deny black turnout” ads every election cycle accusing any and all Republicans as not just racist but intimidators of the black vote.

Anybody else familiar with the film "The Last Empire," specifically the Maoist interrogators? For some reason, whenever I meet a campaign worker for the Snob's campaign I have flash backs to that film... that same creepy, dripping, condescension with a heavy dose of fanaticism.
I guess this just makes it easier to figure out who all they need to send off to the camps once they’re in power...
And in fact, he hasn't even been informally nominated yet, nor is he the "presumptive nominee" by any traditional measure.
He has not earned enough delegates to win the nomination. He can only receive the nomination if all the superdelegates that have pledged for him show up at the convention, and then vote the way they said they would when they were polled.
They are not pledged, they have signed no affidavit, they are free to vote for anybody they want. The rules require that the superdelegates make their decision at the convention as to which candidate they think is best for their party.
As there is no way to know now how they would answer that question in August, it is presumptuous to call him the presumptive nominee. The actual ELECTION doesn't take place until the convention, and by the rules of the convention either candidate could win.
In the Republican contest, McCain has earned enough pledged delegates to win the nomination, and if any delegate attempted to vote other than how they were pledged, their attempt would be ruled out of order. McCain WILL win the vote on the floor, as there are more than enough delegates who are required by the rules to vote for him.
THus, he is the "presumptive" nominee.

He’s very much the “presumptive” nominee, and that’s why he’s announcing a 75,000 person mobfest - to make sure that the Dems don’t even THINK about nominating somebody else.
Did the Founding Fathers make the list?
If anything happens to any of those named people by one of Obama’s rabid, loser, unemployed fanatical base, they should sue the hell out of him personally for incitement.

I’d like to see a “map” of the connections between the DNC and the media on the following news stories:
Newt Gingrich’s taped legal consulation phone call
Abu Ghraib
The forged National Guard memos
Mark Foley’s emails/IM exchanges
George W. Bush’s DWI record
But what if he’s not eligible to be POTUS by virtue of not being a natural born American citizen?
If he wins these will be the first ones sent to the camps.
That would be nice, but I think - even if it’s true that he’s not eligible - the evidence has been buried so deep by now that there’s not much chance of bringing it out.
Remember the missing pages in Bill Clinton’s passport file (supposedly, when he tried to renounce his citizenship during his college days)? They were genuinely missing, he probably did try to renounce his citizenship, but nobody ever found them, nobody even persisted in looking for them, and the whole thing went away.
I think we’ve got to face the fact that Obama’s going to be the candidate by hook or by crook. Hillary was your basic amibitious, aggressive liberal witch; Obama is ruthless. That’s what Hillary didn’t realize. And I think a lot of people don’t realize this.
