Some folks see abortion as an issue for public debate with liberals who have no respect for the unborn.

Pro-life conservatives see abortion as a matter of life, protected by the Constitution. I wouldn't call that extremism. Being nice to those who supports a culture of death is being naive.

This is ridiculous and something I would expect to see on DU, not here. This type of stuff only serves to make us sound like the hysterical banshees with Bush Derangement Syndrome that most sane people mock. We are better than that. There are plenty of ways to point out the lunacy of Hussein Obama without invoking the name of Hitler. Doing this though will only turn more people off to actually judging Obama on his positions.

In a way I agree that we shouldn’t get goofy comparing Hussein Obama to Hitler: Hitler was a lot smarter. Our goofball thinks that there are 57 states and that the Joint Chief of Staff has the power to declare and stop wars.

How many times have we been told,every day,how many have died in the military in Iraq? I really believe that is the same way the number of abortions should be done. Every day in some manner the American people should be made to hear that 55 million dead American children and 14 million of them are African American because of abortion. Bumper stickers,ads,editorials,blogs. I know for some Americans their hearts have gone cold to the dead children of abortion,so they should be reminded often of this holocaust. Dr. Martin Luther King's niece has been very out spoken about the horrors of her abortion and how many African American children have been lost because of it.Her and some African American ministers have been trying to get politicians too stop the funding of Planned Parenthood. If we can get that number,55 MILLION DEAD-American children,we might have a chance to change hearts. There could be a strong repulsion to Obama because he is soooo pro-death. Of course he does not want children who have survived abortions to have any chance of life and no tenderness before they die. I think it was 4 different times this man voted against the born alive act!! The American people have got to realize that children are not protective enough,even though we go out of our way to protect the Caribou. Shouldn't we love our children as much as cats and dogs? Too many animals rights people are pro-choice. It is an age of nature worship,animal adoration,but we kill our own species for nothing more than a more plentiful life,or an affair that went bad. I know of three women who have had more than one abortion,and it still haunts them to this day and it has been many years ago. I love the show Animal Planet because of the great care animals receive and there is GREAT love there for caring for these animals, but how can we as a people show such great love for animals and be so callous to the many children who have been lost for superficial reasons through abortion. I pray we can soften the hearts of the American people so at the very least they can mourn the loss of so many children.

To a certain extent, I agree. I think it might be more accurate to designate parallels between Nazi thought and secular-progressive thought - both of which seek to "streamline" the human race through removal of "human weeds".

There is nothing about BHO's views that should designate a comparison with Adolph Hitler as particularly shocking. BHO is merely following widespread thought, where as Hitler spearheaded it. To highlight similarities between the two is redundant and merely stating the obvious.
