Sources from inside Iran have advised that earlier today, July 8th, the Islamic regime has fired missiles at, and sent mortar shells into Camp Ashraf, where the Mojaheddin (MEK) in Iraq are sequestered.
(Excerpt) Read more at antimullah.com ...
These missiles are reportedly aimed not at Israel but at Saudi Arabian oil fields, Kuwait and parts of Iraq.
The attack on Camp Ashraf, apart from possibly weakening the resolve of the MEK, was also a shot across our bows.
None of the morons in the US Congress seem to care including the Liberal’s Messiah!
bttt
See??
Been saying all along the Israel rhetoric was a red herring. The real immediate target of Iran is Arabs!
Where do you think Hussein Obama gets his funding? He's a terrorist-loving muslim.
Isn’t the US Army there? I would suspect we would get some news from a US source if this were true.
Not that clear cut.
Appears Israel has been doing a brisk trade with Islamic Iran - as has the USA. The difference is that Israel has been channelling or selling sensitive items as well as mere commerical trade.
We have been selling Bull sperm (really). Second biggest export from here to them.
Any word on what kind of missiles?
Anyone heaar of this? from article.
As further background, a Kurdish group which attacked the Islamic Iranian Air Force headquarters in Tehran and killed several officers and wounded nearly a dozen more, they reportedly had some MEK and Coalition Special Forces along on the operation.
My thoughts originally but this is a sensitive political situation and we may be trying to “handle” it right, so have perhaps not rushed to share it.
IF only we could sit down and talk.......(/s)
But Iran’s intentions are clear cut - dominate the ME by subverting Iraq and toppling Saud (which no one talks about and liberals would completely scoff at)
That's nothing new. It's well known that Iran's desire (along with Russia) is to take over the entire ME and control all the ME oil. You can bet Israel will be attacked at the same time by Irans Hesbola and Hamas terrorist groups when the full blown offensive starts. They know they have no chance of winning in the short term, but they will try their best to inflict as much damage as they can, and attempt to block the shipping lanes. The New Persian empire (a Russian, Iranian and many of those "stans") will form an alliance later while the west (including Europe) is busy dealing with the economic collapse caused by an oil shortage. Then the real war will start.
Summer 2009 I believe.
Interesting comment. No, it isn’t new news, but you boiled it down into a few cogent sentences.
The Air Force HQ attack came from sources in Iran, too, in some detail but was immediately hushed up by the Islamic Regime.
Like so many things it never hit the mainstream news, to which I am told the Mullahs are channelling lots of money. As well as left wing and some religious anti-war groups as part of a campaign to persuade America NOT to attack them.
See previous posts on AntiMullah.
We have little or no intel/news capability there so if the Mullahs decide to censor, they can too easily.
AF HQ Was posted on AntiMullah right after it happened and did spread to some Internet sites. We may also have not wished to proliferate the facts.
Democrat Congressional response was a strongly worded letter to the President of the United States informing him that they were going to try and pass legislation to limit the War Powers Act even further to prevent any and all retaliation without Congressional approval.
It's hard to say. I wonder if they will wait to see who wins the election. Not that it will matter much anyway. Obama will have no choice but to act anyways, although he will be even dumber than Bush no doubt.
What missile type?

M.A.’s re-election is mid-2009.
They’ll either start something to ensure his re-election OR start something with total confidence now that he’s won a 2nd term.

We need conformation...
Looky...
TANKS...
Maybe unrelated? or not?...
Stories don’t seem to match...
Don’t have that info. Quick phone call is all I got.
Got a local phone call just now that the Head of National police (apparently as per a local Farsi language magazine I have not had time to check) has stated that women in Islamic Iran can only leave their homes on “odd” days and men on “even” days and that on Friday (their Sunday) they can go out as a family.
Also that authorities will be going door to door and any household with less than four children will be fined and penalized.
This is impossible to believe so just take it as stated till I can get some confirmation. In the same breath, it is not that far-fethced within th scope of their mentality and ever more repressive actions to control the populace.
If they are truly worried by dissent from the increasingly unhappy populace, then this would suit them well, as it keeps half the protest at home on any given day and gives them persmission to shoot the other half if it appears.
And having babies means pregnant women who are too busy to get involved with opposition to the government.
Again, on second thoughts, this sounds EXACTLY what Russian (Soviet) tacticians would employ in Iran. There are some 50,000 Russian advisors/consultants inside Iran today.
Khomeini encouraged food shortages to keep people lined up at variuos places in lines. One for bread, another for a limited daily ration of meat and others for a ration of chickens, another for sugar, another for flour. Everyone was so occupied by standing in line at so many places to get a share of food items they had no time to be an activist.
The terrorists in Iraq now have their own version of Cambodia and Laos...and it’s no surprise that the RATs of today are showing the same ignorance and stupidity as the RATs of the Sixties and Seventies.
More than one story on one day? A combination of several events?
Including the wild story I heard and posted about men and women allowed out on even and odd days only.
Lots cooking, specially if the segregation is a valid story.
Thanks FARS.

“The difference is that Israel has been channelling or selling sensitive items as well as mere commerical trade.”
My view is that israel will deal with almost anyone. They were reported to have sold.shared our patriot tech with china after the first gulf war, and who knows what else.
We do have SOME common interest with israel in the region, but freepers are blind if they consider this country our ally.

Tryin’ to sort this out here...:0/
Hey,CP,,,Long time no see’um,,,
Very strange stuff...Lookin’...
The MEK are no Arabs. They are Persians/Iranians. The MEK is a Marxist-Islamist Terrorist group that opposed both the USA and the Iranian Islamic regime. They were complicit in the Revolution 1979 but were kicked out by the Khomeinists. They were longtime pawns of Saddam Hussein. We should NOT be cooperating with the MEK. This will backfire big time.
My mention of the Persian Gulf coast on the Iranian side was not to indicate that the attack came from there but a general commen on the nissile launching sites in place.
I was given the town/area from which attacks came but could not write legibly and fast enough to copy them down. Conversatin was hurried.
Your location comment does connect the Tehran AF HQ Kurdish attack with this attack on Camp Ashraf. It was a combined ops. With lots of overtones and undertones involved.
