It looks as if Wesley Clark is waving the white flag -- sort of -- in an attempt to avoid more discussion of his remarks on "Face the Nation" a week ago suggesting that John McCain's military experience didn't at all qualify him to be president. When the former general and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate was criticized for those remarks, he dug in and defended them. Then members of his own party begged him to get off center stage. "On a scale of 1 to 10, Clark's words were a 10 in terms of unhelpfulness," a prominent Democratic consultant told Politico.com.
So Mr. Clark is suddenly unavailable to the media. An aide says he is "moving on" ...

Weasley fell on his sword.
Clark reminds me of some mad scientist in a movie who ends up with a gun in his mouth.
...more like he was thrown on it.
I am no fan of John McCain politically, but as far as I am concerned, Generalissimo Wesley Clark can go to hell.
Well now, Randy Beers, Charlie “You make it, we take it” Rangel and a few others Dhimmicrats also attacked McCain that week, only Clark had the “bad luck” to do so on TV.
So one more Dhimmi joins the Obamao’s “Under the Bus Brigade” think of it as Obamao traded out his Granny for Clark...
He's not the Wesley Clark I use to know... Under the bus you go!
Things are bad enough down there already, they don’t want him.
Alas, poor Weasley! I knew him.
A pestilence on him for a mad rogue! ‘a pour’d a flagon
of Rhenish on my head once. This same skull, sir, was, Sir
Weasley’s skull, the Obama’s jester.
Thanks for the script. I used them on a show the other day....and really gave it to McCain.
Regards, Wes
I predict that Weasely will be back in some capacity in an Obama administration. Maybe as a military advisor or on the Joint Chiefs.

I thought those people were supposed to be smart.
3...Dove under the bus.
Bubba took over for Clark with his ugly rhetoric about prisoners of war.
Seems bubba is always willing to do the dirty work. He’s so used to being in the slime it doesn’t bother him a bit.
Fell on his sword
Stepped on his Murtha
Received an offer he couldn't refuse
current location: under bus.
Is he a “don’t ask” or a “don’t tell? I’m so confused.
buh bye
Nobody ever listened to this bed-wetting, hand-wringing punk anyway. Goodbye to bad rubbish. How did the a$$hole become a “general” ?...pay somebody off ?
It’s hard to believe he attained the rank of general, considering he has such a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong.
Just Hillary’s way of trying to be helpful...
It's getting rather crowded under there. Obama made need more ground clearance than the pic indicates.
Perfect!
Wesley’s new callsign is “General Halftrack.”
Hey, wait, we have to see how he does getting tossed out of a jet fighter at 30,000 feet, then getting both arms and his shoulders broken, and, of course, undertaking several serious torture sessions ~ I’ve been signed up for that part for years. Have some great items in mind too!
Liberal Generals never die,
They just go into hiding like cowards!
The end — I hope — of a thoroughly hated Clinton suck-up who became a general through epic ass-kissing. He is known universally among the military as The Weasel.
Not so. In some quarters, he's referred to as "the perfumed prince".
From Michael Moore's website, September 12th, 2003:

Michael Moore to Wesley Clark: Run!
A Citizen's Appeal to a General in a Time of War (at Home)
Dear General Wesley Clark,
I've been meaning to write to you for some time. Two days after the Oscars, when I felt very alone and somewhat frightened by the level of hatred toward me for daring to suggest that we were being led into war for "fictitious reasons," one person stuck his neck out and came to my defense on national television.
And that person was you.

I'll Be Voting For Wesley Clark / Good-Bye Mr. Bush
Many of you have written to me in the past months asking, 'Who are you going to vote for this year?'
I have decided to cast my vote in the primary for Wesley Clark. That's right, a peacenik is voting for a general. What a country!

Michael, the "peacenik", Moore, also from his website, April 14, 2004...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore
Friends,
I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.
So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?
“Not so. In some quarters, he’s referred to as “the perfumed prince”.”
And in some quarters he is known as the Oreck.
I was at a Republican function last night and Quinn Hillyer, editor of the American Spectator, spoke. During the Q&A he was asked to name his two favorite pols in DC and the two worse.....and his answer to the worse? “Hillary and Bill; they are thugs!” I cracked up...too too funny....and right on the money!
Probably blew his chance to be VP. Too bad, I would have liked to see him crumble in a debate with our candidate. I think he would have added nothing to an Obama ticket.
He and Murtha need to be reintroduced to jump school - over Iran.
LOL!
Let's add Greenspan to the drop and insure their shoots don't open.
The obamination sends out his surrogates, with the carrot of cushy appointment?, to send up a trial balloon. If it gets shot down, he denies any connection and the bus people get more company.
Does the obamination really think we don't get it?
Great thread. BTTT!

He was a surrogate for the Obama campaign. Obama will let other Democrats do the dirty work for him, while he pretends to take the high road.
Amen to that.....and they both truly deserve to wear a set - or better yet, how about Sheriff Joe from AZ taking Bubba in custody and making him wear the pink underwear!
I want it!
Weasley fell on his sword.
Naw, it got it shoved up his...
