you think this is weird? try austria (europe) for example. if you are a illegal alien and you managed it to get to this country. just throw away your passport and don´t answer the police where you came from. this will result in a free lawer who will fight for you at all courts to stay here. and even if you are denied it takes 3-5 years to throw you out. and in the meantime you will get an apartment payed by our tax money. some money to spend and you are forbbiden to work. and if we really throw you out after 5 years no problem. just try it again in the next EU country. but if you are born here in austria you won´t get any of this help. you would end as a homeless if you dare to do this.
