Conyers, of course, is the guy who has promised to indict Karl Rove. It looks like there is an indictment in Conyers’s future, but not the one he’s been selling wolf tickets for.
Channel 4(WDIV) reported this last night at 11, but it was unsourced. They referred to “published reports”. Both my wife and me tried to track down the source of these “published reports”, but had no luck. Even WDIV’s website(clickondetroit) didn’t mention the story. Good to finally see this story come to light. I’d guess that ‘DIV got wind of the News’ story last night.
The one difference between 4’s report last night and today’s DetNews story is that 4 specifically mentioned video, while today’s DN story applies the catchall “electronic surveillance”, which would seem to indicate a wire and not video.
If anyone has more on this I’d appreciate it.
After the last time she showed her @$$ in a council meeting, she hosted a sit down with some school kids to talk about it.
