WASHINGTON – Latino gang members were hunting for black people in the Harbor Gateway community of Los Angeles.
Age was not a factor. Neither was gender.
Cheryl Green, 14, was on her scooter, talking to friends when a hail of bullets killed the 8th-grader and injured several other black youngsters.
That was December 2006. But the race-motivated carnage has only increased since then, say law-enforcement authorities from coast to coast – with Hispanic gangs targeting blacks and black gang reciprocating as their communities are increasing surrounded by the exploding population of Hispanics, much of it fueled by illegal immigration.
In Harbor Gateway, the dividing line is 206th Street. Blacks understand it is not safe to cross over to the Hispanic side and Hispanics know it is not safe to cross over to the black side.
Federal prosecutors last year charged members of a Latino gang with conducting a violent campaign to drive blacks out of the Florence-Firestone neighborhood in L.A. County, which resulted in some 20 homicides over several years.
L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca wrote in a newspaper editorial that "some of L.A.'s so-called gangs are really no more than loose-knit bands of blacks or Latinos roaming the streets looking for people of the other color to shoot."

A Short History
The Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) was launched in Waco, Texas in March 2005. The heads of state of the three NAFTA countries, other government officials, and business groups have met periodically to hammer out agreements to speed up integration and increase security. This has been done with almost no public input or Congressional oversight.
Since the SPP is not a law or a treaty or even a signed agreement, there are no formal mechanisms of accountability built in. It is essentially a “gentleman’s agreement” between the executive branches and major corporations in the three nations.

The "time" was years ago. The "time" was when they were crossing our border.
The U.S. government's (led by Bush) policy on the invasion is the same as Obama's policy on terrorists: "After Americans die we will prosecute."
One FReeper voiced an opinion that I felt was far more in line with the final agenda of the left. Socialist democrats in the United States see the use of wide-spread racial gang activity as cultural "shock troops" on the masses. One benefit is that they serve as a constant distraction to the public who will call for further government action, resulting in expansion of government powers. Next, they serve as a means to keep people focused on one another, and not the government robbing the people blind and savagely curtailing their freedoms.
These presence and growth of these gangs are not an "accident", they are the roots of the socialist army.
Don’t draw any comfort from that. That will change as soon as there’s a benefit to them to change it.
No surprise that illegals are drawn to illegal gangs and commit illegal activties. More power to them if they keep it between themselves! (grin)
If our cities could just settle into little balkanized neighborhoods without one population growing exponentially (right now, that would be the Hispanic population growing due to constant immigration) they might eventually settle into stable, very segregated neighborhoods.
From there, if they reach a certain comfort level, peace might descend.
Now this part will sound really cynical, but I'm going by what I've observed: Most poor people are poor because they are easily satisfied. If they have a roof over their head, food on the table, and some electronic toys to play with after work, they are pretty content. Add beer and pot, and you have a quiet, contented populace. They'll never be anything but maids, valets, mechanics, and cashiers, but not everybody searches for fulfillment in their jobs.
So to summarize my rather lengthy exposition, I think if we could control the border, the situation might eventually stabilize.

I’m not happy about a fourteen year old girl being shot. I don’t take any comfort in this kind of violence. When irrational violence spreads, the whole society is put in danger.

It’s no secret that the black gangs and Hispanic gangs have been fighting for years. It has just finally been reported by the MSM. The politicians oppose cracking down on these gangs and favor “outreach” type programs to the community. These embolden the gangs and make matters worse.

I doubt it. We still have 1,200,000 or more coming in legally now, then the 500,000+ (who knows) that sneak in illegally. The only thing that would cause a point of stasis would be a severe cutback of immigration as was done in the 1920s, to around 200,000 per year or fewer.
And, the huge number of illegals in the country can and probably will keep most of the pathologies they bring going for another couple of generations. And we’ll never completely cutoff illegal entries.
Not making excuses, just trying to give you constructive criticism is reading comprehension. What you said was "So black and mexican gangs are killing each other - good.". What I pointed out was that they were killing innocent girls. That's not the same thing and I'm glad you understand that is tragic.

I believe there is a degree of truth to that, that some want to weaken the US, and particularly traditional patriotism, by bringing in more and more foreigners who will not share those beliefs.
But there is a long list of open borders (or very lax immigration enforcement) advocates, and they have every sort of motive from wanting cheap labor, and cheap votes, and more Catholics in the pews, do gooders who think US residency and citizenship is a gift they have to offer the world’s poor, and those who want more their kind to increase their numbers and political power, etc., etc.

That's right a small percentage of people, generally gangs and drug dealers, in our large cities are causing the majority of the gun related homicides in the US. Do not allow this data to be covered up or hidden. Do not allow the gun control nutcases to take away your self defense weapons.

Like Franknstein and Bill Cosby said, where is all the discipline in the Black Community? Where is Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson when their “community” really needs them? From teenage gangs killing innocent victims in Septa terminals to this, many in the Black community are simply out of control. Fortunately (or unfortunately for them) a majority of their victims are their own. The media perpetuates this by glorifying hiphop and the “gangsta” lifestyle. Blacks are the only minority specifically protected by law and many STILL can’t get their act together in society. All other minorities, including Asian and Latino (and even now with the success of the Native Americans) manage to provide for themselves and their families and successfully integrate into the American society. Slavery isn’t an excuse anymore…that died about 100 yrs ago…that is just an excuse for the desperate and frankly Native American’s had it 1000x worse. There are Black leaders all across the county in business and government and now there is one who is successfully running for President, the only racism that exists is that which a minority brings upon itself.

The problem we have with illegals are that they come to this country, take advantage of our generosity, kill Americans(more have been killed in America by illegals than in the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan combined!) and with 300K foreigners incarcerated; American taxpayers shouldn't have to pay to incarcerate other countries’ criminals. It's not like we are long on cell space and short on American criminals!

It's not that they just want to bring in foreigners, it's that they tell them they don't have to learn English, they don't have to pledge allegiance to the flag and they want them to be allowed to vote even if they are here illegally, much less citizens.
Be that as it may, they are not in the least constrained by considerations of "legality" and will not go quietly. MS-13 is not just some bunch of snotnoses, but a rough bunch by most any standard.
If a mechanic owns his own business, I’m sure he does well. Undoubtedly better than I do. I apologize for insulting mechanics.
