Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will join presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain in Mexico City Thursday morning on the last day of McCain's three-day visit to Latin America.
Gov. Bush was in Mexico City on business and wanted to spend time with the candidate. He will not spend the day with Sen. McCain, R-Ariz., who has several other events today, including a media availability this afternoon.
Gov. Bush's name has been floated in Republican veepstakes chatter. On Good Morning America Wednesday, however, McCain pushed back on any talk of his vice presidential pick.

Jeb would make a good veep. That said, keep him away from the ticket. If there is a Bush anywhere around, it would be impossible for McCain to convince independents who have GWB fatigue that his presidency wouldn’t just be a third GWB term.

Jeb would make a good veep. You mean the same Jeb Bush that continued the embargo against drilling of the coast of Florida? The Bush family is not a friend of the USA. Hopefully Jeb will stay in Mexico and take his brother with him.

Jeb would make a good veep. NEVER! I don't want ANY other Bush near the Oval Office in my life time. While we worried about our enemies on the left, we never saw them massing on our right.
And I'm no longer certain that Jimmy Carter was the worst president whose administration I lived through.

Why is a candidate for president “campaigning” in Mexico? I assume he is down there making speeches. McCain has no official business down there. Mexicans and no others have any say so in our election ( in my perfect world ).
To: Resolute Conservative
10% of Mexico’s population is in America. Mexican politicians come up here to campaign.

The Bush family is not a friend of the USA.Real conservatives know that the Bush family represents only its own class and family interests. Father and son have done a remarkable job gutting what Reagan and others worked so hard for, and brother Jeb could deliver the final coup de graces to the conservative movement in American history. Put him anywhere near the ticket and Obama will win in a landslide.

Great. Another Bush, of the Beltway Bushes, giving a fellow self- aggrandizing, principle-compromising "moderate" pol a push. The party on the right is now the party on the left.

To: HuntsvilleTxVeteran
This country is truly in trouble, no matter who the next POTUS is, and there’s nothing that anyone can do to stop it. The next Congress in both chambers will probably also be very socialistic. It’s frustrating!

Sure we did. They are the ones who had adopted the BAF views of the left and backed Ron Paul. Fortunately, their numbers were too small and no one had any reason to take them seriously.
To: E. Cartman
Can we all just agree, the US never needs to see another Roosevelt, Kennedy, Clinton, or Bush in office. I would prefer an old fashion hereditary monarchy to the kind of political dynasties which the American populace in the ignorance places in charge of this country.

You are worth only a half vote and McCain is campaigning to those who are worth a whole vote.

McCain is in . . . Mexico City?Perhaps John's just down there representing his wife's business ventures. I read somewhere that Anheuser-Busch was talking with (?)Grupo Modelo about a possible merger to stall a hostile takeover.

Unfortunately the nimbo running the McCain campaign is McCain.
Charles Black, a top strategist for McCain's campaign, told the press that John McCain insisted on the trip to Latin America and the staffs’ duty was to accommodate him. The GOP nominated a leftist numb-skull and it makes little difference as to how they rearrange the deck chairs on their Titanic. It is going to sink.

The GOP had to know that every faction of the GOP wasn’t going to jump on board the Straight Talkin’ Spress.
Thats why I think it is bizarre that these people spend their time insulting folks around here.
Since McCain, a democrat, except for the R, is McCain, it would be easier for them to go convince some people in the Democrat Party to waste their whole vote on Juanito.

Why is a candidate for president campaigning in Mexico? I assume he is down there making speeches. McCain has no official business down there. Mexicans and no others have any say so in our election ( in my perfect world ).Because there are no serious issues facing Americans and the Senate has really nothing to do. The Democrats in Congress, along with the help of liberals like McCain, have solved all of our problems. The only thing left to do is solve all the problems of the rest of the world. McCain is "reaching across the border" to insure that all Mexicans can get the support of American taxpayers that they deserve.
What's wrong with you? Have you no feelings for your fellow human beings? Are you so selfish that you think our "leaders" should be spending their time worrying about your problems just because you are a U.S. citizen? For shame.
