New research says women bitterly regret one-night stands. But the emotional damage can go deeper than you think...
Aisling Aisling, 28, regretted every second of her one-night stand, saying she felt "used and cheated" When seen in the cold light of the morning after the night before, what had seemed like a rather thrilling idea at the time suddenly felt anything but for 28-year-old PR executive Aisling. At the party where they'd met, the prospect of a no-strings, one-night stand with a handsome young man had felt sexy, slightly dangerous, liberating and a salve to the ego following the end of a four-year relationship. After all, in this day and age, if men can do it, why can't women?

Those English babes are always so insistent about that ~ with everybody.
Aisling Aisling, baby!

Um, NO.
MIssed it by THAT much...
boo freaking hoo.
She has an effervescent transexual quality. The kind of woman I refer to as ‘mac.’
This was obvious to me in high school, watching what went on with the sexually active. It had a profound impact on me, and for the same reasons this article states.
bump
Maybe she just needs to meet the right kind of rake ;=)
Why is her first name the same as her last name?
At 28 I would think she should have more self awareness. If she was 19 I’d let it slide, but at her age, she should know better and realize she should choose more wisely.
What?
This should be talked about more. Sex is not just a physical act. It ties up with emotions of people, and that’s why casual sex should be discouraged.
On a related subject, there are high rates of depression in women who have abortions. This whole business of casual sex results sometimes in unwanted pregnancy. People are told you can just get an abortion to take care of any accidents. But, it’s hard for many women to do that. This too should be discussed, that abortion is not simply a minor medical procedure that you get done one day, and then just forget about the next.
S/he has a certain mannish quality.
That’s a MAN, baby!
Because men and women are different. Thank God they are.

"when I was getting ready to leave [Bill] Ayers told me I couldnt go until I slept with his roommate and his brother. At this point Bill and I had slept together just once. I was sexually inexperienced, having had only one serious boyfriend with whom I had recently broken up. At first I thought Ayers was joking. I got up; and went to the door. He moved quickly to block me at the doorway. He locked the door and put the chain on it. I went to the couch and sat down and told him that I had no intention of having sex with his roommate and his brother or him. He said that I had no choice but to do as he said if I wanted to get out of there. He claimed that I wouldnt sleep with his married roommate because he was black -- that I was a bigot. I got up from the couch and walked over to the black roommates bed and put myself on it and he ****** me. I went totally out of my body. I floated beside myself on the outside and above the bed looking at this black stranger **** me angrily while I hated myself."

God created man an woman to be equal,
Satan tries to make them the same.

” That’s a MAN, baby!”
DUH!!!!!
Does this girl not have a MOM or even a DAD who sat her down long before she was 22 to tell her some fundamental facts about men in general?
I suggest that she, after some extensive soul searching, should become a teacher.
Aisling will soon be holding her licker.
One cannot have their cake and eat it too. Wait a minute, that's probably not a good analogy for this situation.
That is why you don't get to watch any more .

So tell the world about it...with photos.
When last night's 'Brad Pitt' looks more like Mr Bean, a woman's self-respect plummets. As for actually marrying the 'Brad Pitts' of this world, a promiscuous woman jeopardises her chances of attracting a high-status long-term partner by giving away her assets too cheaply.
Christie Brinkley got a high-status Brad Pitt-handsome guy. Sheesh. Women never learn.
After all, in this day and age, if men can do it, why can’t women?

Absolutely LOL. Like women haven’t been doing it for, what, at least 30 years. That goes back to my college days, and I’m sure a few of my freeper friends with a few years on me can push that date back even a few years before that.
This young woman’s issues are clearly much deeper than the self-loathing she is experiencing due to her serial one night stands. That she continued to put herself in the same position (careful, it’s a family show) time after time amply demonstrates that, at least to me.
yet, she provides no phone #. Stupid tease!

In short, men really aren't very choosy at all about whom they have one-night stands with, so spending the night with you is not necessarily a sign that he finds you especially attractive at all.'
Twenty-four-year-old Laura Nettley, a single account manager from South London, believes the research confirms everything she has begun to suspect.
Again, where are these girls PARENTS? I am always amazed at how unbelievably stupid many women are when it comes to men. How is it remotely possible for any girl to not know the fundamental basics? What crap are they being exposed to to where they don't know this stuff by 13, let alone their 20s?
Here, point blank ladies.. as a guy, I'm telling you.. MEN ARE PIGS. Now, not all men are pigs all the time, but MEN ARE PIGS. Some men are pigs 24/7, fortunately not most.. but we all are PIGS at some point in our lives, nearly every one of us can admit to being a complete pig, if we are willing to be honest.
But you see, if we are horny, and we think you are willing, guess what, at that particular point we aren't likely to be honest about the fact we are pings. I can say that I've never told a lie to get a gal in the sack, but I can say most of the men I know have... And yes, you'd be suprised how many upstanding fine men generally speaking I've seen do it.
A horny guy will sleep with just about anyone, provided there will be no photographic evidence or his friends don't know. So if you think casual sex is going to validate your ego.. you are likely to be vastly disappointed.
Mothers have always told their daughters this important fact...Maybe fathers need to be blunt with their daughters and explain to them the male point of view----what many boys think about casual sex ...
No problem, though, with posing for the picture.

How appropriate that the horn dog in chief would be the first one to show up.
Remember that in feminist dogma, a woman can accuse a man of rape even if it was consensual, if she “feels” raped.
Furthermore, they should try to teach their SONS a bit of respect and restraint, too.
I’m a man BTW and believe this.
Granted, I also observe that sometimes, it’s a bit cruel how men want sex more than women...even in the context of marriage.
In Britain, the average straight woman has five partners in a lifetime.

This woman pursued a slutty lifestyle and is unhappy with the results.
She says:
“When last night’s ‘Brad Pitt’ looks more like Mr Bean, a woman’s self-respect plummets. As for actually marrying the ‘Brad Pitts’ of this world, a promiscuous woman jeopardises her chances of attracting a high-status long-term partner by giving away her assets too cheaply.”
It doesn’t sound like she knows what love is. Her search for a “Brad Pitt”, “high status”, “partner” (not husband) just sounds pathetic.
Sure got mine!
I think her wardrobe is a bigger problem.
'One guy, who was meant to be a close friend, took advantage of me when I was really drunk. We ended up having sex, and in the morning I was mortified.'
I feel quite confident that she's been drunk every single time she gave the "go" signal for a one-nighter. And she probably still hasn't figured out that that's the problem. Things that seem like a great idea when one is drunk/drugged, usually don't seem so great when one is in chemically unimpaired. Drunk driving, one night stands, telling your boss what you really think of him/her, you name it.
Ms. Aisling Aisling is rather quick to blame the fellow for "taking advantage" of her when she was drunk. But in all likelihood, he was equally drunk, and no more able to make good decisions than she was.
So she used some guy but now she feels used?

"I'm a slutty woman with absolutely no moral grounding. God, I hate myself."
