It is a SERIOUS SIN for Jews/Christians to vote/support Obama/DNC
Bible /Torah | July 2, 2008 | vanity

Posted on 07/02/2008 8:09:32 AM PDT by topher

In the First Book of the Bible, in Chapter 1, God states that man (mankind) is created in God's image. Man is different from other animals -- it reflects God by God's design.

In the book of Psalms, Psalm 139 starting with verse 11, it is stated how we are knit by God in our mother's womb and other things that God knows about us when we are being pro-created.

Jeremiah 1:5 talks about God knew us before He formed us in the womb...

Finally, the 4th and 5th commandments [given to Moses] are broken by abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, and other atrocities of the 21st Century.

A person who gives their children to be destroyed [in abortion/embryonic stem cell research/etc] dishonors their father and mother.

By killing their children or allowing themselves to be killed (euthanasia), they are violating the 5th commandment: THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

It is clear from these Old Testament passages and passages from the Torah, that it is a serious sin to support/vote for Obama Barack. It is also a serious sin to support (in many ways) the DNC -- the Democratic National Committee -- which holds that abortion is a right, promotes Embryonic Stem Cell research, euthanasia, etc.

Homosexuality is also promoted by the DNC and Obama -- which Jews are forbidden from and the Old Testament had the punishment of death for committing this sin.

As for Obama Barack, he has gone so far as to want to have the title Baby Killer -- for his role in rejecting the Born Alive Law in Illinois and his strong support of Partial Birth Abortion.

At least one million American babies lose their life each year to abortion. Supporting/voting for Obama will help continue this American holocaust.

The DNC is the bride of Obama in this tribute to the Whore of Babylon -- helping to continue unspeakable acts in this country.

It is not against the law to vote/support Obama or to support the DNC.

But it is clearly immoral and a serious sin for Jews and Christians...

Maybe we should start referring to Obama as "Obama the Baby Killer" or "Obama the itty-bitty baby killer".

Do we need to incur the wrath of God anymore -- with oil out of control, the economy headed downward, and the potential for war (Iran), as well as other troubles?

To add a verse to the song Blowing in the wind:

How many babies must die before too many babies have died

Yes, and how many children must be poisoned [by immorality] before too many children have died...

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind...

Some might say: Why not post this under religion?

The answer is that this is an election issue, and my VANITY on the issue.

People should consider the consequences on their souls when they vote and what they do in participating in an election.

I can always post under religion as well...

Using terms like “abortion” and “baby-killer” are so archaic and draconian.

You need to get with the times.

In today’s enlightened age of reason, it would be prudent to use a phrase like “women’s reproductive health issues.”

I think it’s counter productive to attempt to push that view. Whether you think it’s a sin to support Obama or not, it smacks of mindless Bible thumping. This kind of thing is what pushes moderates to the Democrats.

This country is based on the 10 Commandments -- in terms of how the laws were initially formed.

It is my opinion that great harm was done to this country when the sexual revolution promoted sex with anyone anytime.

When the Sexual Revolution took off, the moral fabric of the family unit started to decay...

Does not treat the symptoms of the illness and let the patient die, or does one address the actual illness and find a cure.

Our country is based on Christian/Jewish beliefs -- not Muslim beliefs -- nor Hindu beliefs -- nor Pagan beliefs...

Native Americans [American Indians] were labeled savages because of what Christopher Columbus initially found -- people not wearing clothes and having sexual freedom.

When Columbus discovered Cuba, he found people who were involved in cannabalism.

This is one reason there was so much prejudice against the Native Americans -- the peoples that Columbus initially found. Mexico did not help matters much either -- as they had pyramids/temples built to offer human sacrifice...

If the moderates are afraid of the truth, then maybe they should find drugs to cover up the truth, or drink their way to numbness.

Otherwise, we should face the truth and address the issues...

I’m not voting for anyone, and I’ve been told that I have no right to comment or that my not voting will elect Obama. I can’t figure that out. I ask how that is any different than driving to the polls to vote, and getting in a car accident, preventing me from voting.

That doesn't mean we should give up on the president.

And if we can have someone better, then fine.

But Obama has much blood on his hands -- before he has entered office (presidency).

Makes me wonder if he is out to top Adolf Hitler's record for killing people (born or unborn) through genocide...

A philosophical question is this:

Adolf Hitler is running for Chancellor in 1932 (I think). Now I as a German voter knows things about Hitler at this time that HE INTENDS TO DO.

I am JEWISH and I know that Hitler will bring prosperity to Germany (as a tasty addition)... And Hitler did pull Germany out of hard economic times and help rebuild Germany (to fight a devastating war).

Should I;

1. Vote for Hitler

2. Vote for the opposition

3. Do nothing

Now the analogy is valid since Hitler did not show a regard for human life -- he started off by getting rid of the non-producers in society and sterilizing the incompetent.

Hitler clearly had no regard for the right of human life.

That is the important aspect of Obama -- his lack of respect for human life...

I don’t see much difference between abortion and collateral deaths of innocent civilians during wartime, especially by carpet bombing and such.

They both result in innocent deaths. They both are done without the consent of the victims. The victims have no way to defend themselves. They both are done out of convenience. They both are pre-meditated.

The only difference I can see, is possibly intent...which would make taking an innocent person’s life relative to the reason.

The following link:

Statements of Catholic Bishops, Archbishops, and Cardinals on elections and warnings to Pro-abortion politicans (and voters) -- http://www.priestsforlife.org/elections/bishops.htm

When a pro-abortion Catholic legislator was elected to the state house in Massachusetts, I sent her many emails on copies of the statements of these Catholic Leaders.

This particular pro-abortion politican had made an issue out of being "kicked out of her Catholic Church (st. Augustine)".

She was able to make an issue out of it, and get a Boston newspaper to write a sympathy story to support her...

I tried to get her the word, but I do not know if I succeeded...

It’s impossible to be a very wise/holy person and support Democrates.

That being said, there are a bunch of Democrates out there that spend most of their time trying to help people, and I should think most of them have what it takes to obtain eternal life.

Take Russert for example. He did great harm as a powerful liberal, but it sure looks like his heart had a lot of love for his fellows. How else to explain his dedication to his wife, son, father, collegues, including lots from the other side of the aisle.

Could be a punishment. Maybe Obama will convert after nuclear bombs start going off in the Middle East...

There is an interesting connection in the book of Revelation to Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor fire...

The word CHERNOBYL means WORMWOOD in the Ukrainian language.

It is interesting what that passage is about:

Revelation 8:10-13

Rev 8:10-13

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water--

11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!"

(NIV)

Note that this passage ends with TALK OF AN EAGLE WARNING FOLKS...

Note that this all about the ANGEL OF WORMWOOD. And in the Ukrainian language, this name is Chernobyl -- the site of the most deadly nuclear accident caused by man when a nuclear reactor caught on fire and poisoned much of the Ukraine with radiation...

I think it’s a bit disingenuous to say, now after-the-fact, that you as a voter knows what Hitler intends to do. You cannot really know what Obama intends to do. I mean 10 yrs ago, no one one would have been able to say that they knew Obama would change his mind about the issues he has recently reversed his stand on, could they?

I don't recall.

But the opposition could have been the Communist Party, as it might well have been.

I just recall who opposed Hitler.

I think he (Hitler) was able to get into power because of the number of seats his BROWN SHIRTS had in the Parliment...

To blindlessly vote for another candidate because you think one is bad is also wrong...

That was more hypothetical than anything else...

God long ago dictated his judgment about socialism, a system founded on lies, coveting and theft, a system that cannot function without arbitrary government:

Leviticus 19:11 Do no steal. Do not lie. Do not deceive one another.

Leviticus 19:15 Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the rich, but judge your neighbor fairly.

I would encourage everyone to read the entire 19th chapter of Leviticus and ponder how those principles apply today.

The Left is going to be quick to highlight the faults of the businessman. All too often, when business fails to live up to our high ideals, it is because government has failed in its proper role to *not pervert justice*. Even so, two wrongs don't make a right. To do that requires that we show partiality.

We have learned from experience we cannot make a poor person rich by making a rich person poor. To start down that road requires lies to be told about the situation of both, to work up the coveting of the crowd to use government to effect the theft under the color of law.

I imagine that type of discussion, pre-1954, is better than the sound bites of TV today...

But you are welcome to your opinion...

I believe that was why Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., could never expect to be president. His affair with Gloria Swanson was such a scandal in his day that it ended his presidential hopes...

That was in an age where morality mattered.

I guess morality has no business in politics -- just amorality...

Obama should be repugnant to moderates because of his rejection of the Born Alive Protection Act. That was an attempt to provide a law in Illinois to protect babies born alive through abortion.

I don't see how someone who advocates Genocide and Infancide should be appealing to moderates.

But then there were those who were more concerned with Germany being prosperous than some aspects of Adolf Hitler...

The fact that Obama is so willing to kill people should be of major concern to people -- whether it be babies through PBA, abortion, blocking the born alive protection act, or older people through euthanasia...

Five million dead Jewish people might agree with me (from the years 1933 to 1945)...

Why don't you email Barbara L'Italien if all the fuss about her being a pro-abortion politican made a dent with her.

She was asked to step down as a choir leader and as a teacher for the children's choir at Saint Augintine Catholic Church in November 2004.

She made a very public issue of this -- trying to say it was okay to be pro-abortion in voting...

I emailed her a number of the Bishop's statements...

From the Gospel of Luke that is probably the best answer -- if they will not listen to the prophets/Church leaders -- they might not even listen to the dead:

It is the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus:

Luke 16:19-31

19 "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.

20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores

21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.

23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.

24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25 "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27 "He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house,

28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29 "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30 "'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31 "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" (NIV)
