As pointed out by this representative of the Florida Attorney General's office, it is impossible to separate national security issues from illegal immigration, and one of the most important illegal immigration issues in Florida is the issue of human trafficking. And as Jake at Freedom Folks notes (thanks for the tip), this story doesn't appear to have been covered by the news wires.
Here, a horrifying story is described of a little girl who, after being taken to the Florida panhandle from Mexico, resisted while being raped, and was subsequently made an example of by being beheaded in front of other girls being held to be raped repeatedly. The girls made to watch were then left in the room with the little girls body for several hours.

Actually, Meso-America had quite a long history of human sacrifice, beheading, and cannibalism.
The Inca and Aztec cultures regularly did things which would have caused even Big Mo to have tossed, no, make that “hurled”, his cookies.

I take a back seat to no one on border security. OTOH this story is kinda short on specifics, like names and locations. The guy said he’d “heard” about it. I’m not saying it didn’t happen, I’d just like some verification. Google only turns up this clip and references to it, no original story that I’ve been able to find.

Mexican drug lords and various bad guys in Mexico have been beheading folks for a very long time. It is not new at all, it was just very rarely reported before, and really isn’t reported much now.
On a side note, you may not be wrong about influences in Mexico- I hear some Mexicans are converting to Islam. Surprises me, since I know nearly all are Catholic and the Catholic church is very strong in Mexico.

Be intellectually honest enough to admit that in this immigration controversy there are (sadly) some who are using fear to move their agenda, and there are some (only some, but they hurt us all) who reveal bigotry in their rants. You needn’t be offended if you can remember that there are those “somes” in every group; conservatives have no corner of perfection. You actually do have a choice as to how you receive what you hear, see and read, just as you have a choice as to how you receive a good, that is, with “open” or “closed” heart.
