Just catching up with the Third World...
East St. Louis, Ill...snicker.
In my town, 5 police officers have been either fired or arrested in the last few months for seeing prostitutes while on duty and stealing lobsters from a restaurant, also while on duty.
Our little gestapo consists of a bunch of 21 year olds who evidently think they are marines or something. They try hard to intimidate people. It’s pretty disgusting imo.
I’ve been hearing from cops for a good ten years now that the new hires have arrest reccords more and more frequently. It used to be that one MIP or one really bad speeding ticket was enough to disqualify you.
I used to feel somewhat smug when I observed the corruption that existed in places like Latin America and Africa. I lost my smugness shortly after Clinton took office. These days.....
You live in Connecticut as well? :-)
Same thing happened here in New Haven, or very similar circumstances. As usual, no one went to jail, just got their hands slapped and I think one guy's retirement was forfeited.
and the liberals are afraid of Bush while the police state is upon us with the lawless thugs running most city police departments these days.
Even the highway patrol flaunts speed limits & stop signs with impunity and if they don't consider those laws applicable to them, I can only assume they think the same about every other law on the books.
Shameful and disgusting what law enforcement has become.
I followed a link to someplace called www.thugreport.com earlier today. It had a number of stories about politicians and police who were caught breaking the law. It’s the world gone mad. We’re turning into a third world country.
Howd you guess? :}
Once Obeymao is elected, he’ll need plenty of thugs on police forces all across America to impliment his marxist utopia.
Prison is the best Academy for East St. Louis. Ever been there? Lot like Mogadishu.
