I’ve noticed in the past couple of years that certain movies are repeated over and over again on ALL the usual movie channels. Don’t they have a plethora of movies they can show? I am sooo tired of seeing the same old names day after day.

Could be they just only have license for those particular films like HBO only have rights to Warner Bros and Parmount and Showime only have Columbia and Sony pictures

It like AMC TV have 1 run movies

While Fox movie channel only have run for 20th Century Fox movies while TCM has rights to MGM Warner some Parmount some silents

SIMON RENSHAW: The extreme rightwing group, for their own political reasons, are attempting to manipulate the American media, and the American media is falling for it. The Free Republic is very well organized. Out of the hundreds of threads of comedy and criticism posted over the years since the Dixie Chicks decided to tank their group by disparaging their nation's representatives in front of a foriegn audience, the first thread I found is HERE

As the original thread I posted a link to at #92 shows, the original post was of a discussion on hollywoodhalfwits.com. That blog appears to have been absorbed by RightNation.us which still has some of the HollywoodHalfwit gang involved I believe.

Their discussion forum still has a entertainment discussion forum that might have those that remember the old post.

Anyone that is familiar with them or wants to register can probably get an old timer to respond with thier history. They may not even know that they were the start of the internet dog-pile and fan dump that spontaneously occured due to universal disgust with their actions outside the country.
