Geraldo supports the troops and does much to show the progress on many of his programs.
I don’t agree with him on some issues but give credit where due

No. It’s somewhat amusing that the drive-by’s are now instead of talking about how Iraq is getting better and American deaths are down they decide to talk abut how there have actually been more American deaths in Afghanistan then in Iraq during this month of June.

I saw Geraldo and was rushing to turn it off until I saw he was at Ft. Campbell. I was hooked. Geraldo was a supporting actor. Our guys were the stars.

I concur - don’t agree w/him on many things, but this one was good, and so true - I have a young friend w/a new baby whose husband is deployed “classified” for a second time after being in afghanistan, and I told her last week that because we’re not hearing about Iraq in the MSM for awhile now is a sign that there’s so much progress and things are going very well. I give Geraldo credit for devoting a whole show to this, Good News is No News.

I don't know if anyone remembers Geraldo immediately after 9/11, but I do. He was emphatically pro-fight as he lost some good friends that fateful day. He's been to Iraq many times and is so supportive of not only the troops, but of the war in general. If I recall, he was very close, if not in the action in Afghanistan early on.
Yeah, he's a misguided lib, but he changed a bit since we were attacked.

I sure was watching and was so furious that I tried to send email to Fox but the email kept coming back- not delivered.
This show was so terrible in so many ways. First, Geraldo used a standing military unit to be his background throughout the show.
Second, Geraldo used the older veterans that he obviously invited to the show to stand around until the end of his show and ran out of time so no one recognized their stories.
This show was absolutely awful and Geraldo needs to be spoken to big time but I can not get through.

The show to me pointed out liberal media bias in Iraq and that is rare.
This is a two part show. The rest is on tomorrow.

Geraldo may not have found Al Capone's super secret vaults but he just opened the mainstream medias vault showing their bias in Iraq.

Whoreraldo likes his fame and fortune and he tows the Fox News company line. He is pro-military on the War in Iraq and he is pro-amnesty on illegal immigration.

This Ralph Peters remark was just after the female reporter finished talking about being embedded in Iraq defending her colleagues position for not reporting anything good.
The discomfort on her face was priceless.
She looked like she was pinching a loaf.

'Iraq: Where Good News is No News'Geraldo is absolutely correct. "Good news from Iraq" is the dying "mainstream" newsroom equivalent of "dog bites man, "airplane lands safely", or "Democrat politican caught lying again".
To: Lancey Howard; All
Amazing how embedded journalists can continue making excuses for not reporting current events in Iraq that show outstanding achievement while simultaneously continuing to dwell on outdated failure.
Sadly they play upon Americas ADD & ADHD problems.
Its like the old phrase
“If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem.”

Ralph did a great job. Hopefully a lot of viewers may see the wisdom in what he said and pass it on to those that still are clueless as to how Iraq has turned around in the positive.

Over time the smoke screens put in place by forces that rather the world not understand how well Iraq is coming along, will disperse. No smoke screen can last forever. The realities have a habit of surfacing.
I continue to dwell on the concept of all the oil and gas under Iraqi soil that demands a final solution to ridding Iraq of all the baddies in whatever form they may take.
I don't think the Maliki government and for that matter the majority of Iraq's political parties desire for goon squads to keep them from becoming rich over a period of time.
