Four black teens were arrested on hate crime charges Friday, after police say they threw rocks at a bus full of Jewish toddlers.
Police say the teens hurled racial slurs and broke windows on the school bus last month in Crown Heights.
The three girls and one boy are all 14 years old.
No one on the bus was hurt.
The case is the latest in a string of incidents between black and Jewish residents in Crown Heights.
Between? I'll take a (not so) wild guess: the Jews are rarely (if ever) the perps.
Don't kid yourself. Those Jews go around smashing their faces against people's fists all the time.

If McCain picks Lieberman as VP, I fear what might happen then, but perhaps that would be one of the best reasons to choose him. This nonsense has to stop.
I’m sure it’s hard to imagine men who are wearing yarmulkes attacking and beating people. But, according to this story, it did happen in Crown Heights:
The funny thing is, many Skips (my name for non-ethnic whites who move to NYC from middle America or the west coast) get tricked into moving to Crown Heights (and Bed Stuy). They must be freaked out after seeing sh-t like this.
After I wrote that post I called my dad and asked him about Crown Heights. (He’s Jewish, and was born and raised in the area). He told me not to be too surprised to find stories of Hasids not only fighting back but occasionally initiating hostilities. And yep, you found one.
It has been reported for weeks that tensions in Crown Heights have been building. Something big is going to happen soon.

This is Crown Heights aka Little Jamaica or Little Hebron, depending on what side of Eastern Parkway you live on. These folks were lucky that they were just throwing stones.
Israel can pay for relocation/repatriation, and Uncle Sam can pay for a wall around Crown Heights. Problem solved.

This is illustrative of the problem. Throughout human history, it was always the female who put a stabilizing and civilizing influence on the male. Once the females are turned to savages, there is no hope for that civilization. All will eventually turn to chaos.

Says they were part of a neighborhood patrol responding to calls about black kids throwing rocks. Not an advisable way to handle it, but still it doesn’t have the same implications.
Blacks tell themselves that racism is an exercise in power, thereby excusing their own bigotry. Once Obama is in power, I expect some blacks to says it's time for payback, resulting in many more crimes against whites.

This is beyond hideous. They’re less than animals. I hope they spend a long, long time in prison.
It took about a month to arrest the perps, but better late than never.
Also, what were the charges? “Hate crimes”? Shouldn’t the perps be charged with something other than a hate crime, something like attempted felony assault plus vandalism? The fact that these crimes were committed while “hurling racial slurs” should be an exaccerbating factor when the judge imposes the penalty after conviction.

If it were 4 (insert any race here) kids throwing rocks and shouting racial slurs against a bus full of African American toddlers, it would be national news.

It doesn’t say the young man who was beaten was throwing rocks. It does say he’s the son of a police officer, though.

Hard to blame Sharpton directly for this particular incident. These 14 year old perps weren't born when the infamous Crown Heights riots occurred.
But Sharpton's words then could have resonated with these kids' parents, who passed the poison of hatred down to the next generation.
She would say: “Fred Sanford, you old heathen!”

I grew up in Mississippi, 40% black....my hometown is now around 80% and we did not have that stuff of black on white hate-violence till maybe 20 years ago with the rise of thug culture and rap music.
I'd never felt anything but warmth from blacks till I moved to Manhattan in 1980 and noticed how they sorta seethed at you on the subway....strange.
now except in rural more religious conservative areas it's like that everywhere down here....just like up north except unlike y'all we have beacoup blacks down here and when they act up you know it.
No good deed goes unpunished about sums up how I feel about Civil Rights redress these days.

I grew up in the middle of it and they had a right to be angry then but aside from some radicals up north and in Kali, they weren't. The way I see it things are not better. We are more unsafe and their culture has disintegrated and a few Clarence Thomases and Thomas Sowells as wonderful as they are don't compensate for the bad outcome.
Sad thing is most young folks don't know any better. They think this is great.

Yes, along with a felony count related to the endangerment of children. The liklihood ot their doing jail time, low. In fact I won't be surprised if they're acquitted, of plead to minor offenses. Vandalism for breaking windows, something like that.

They probably won't be acquitted, if the police have their identity correct. But the concern is that because they are "youths," they will get slaps on the wrist, especially if they are first time offenders.

Sayyid Nosair was acquitted of the murder of Meir Kahane, and went on to attempt to blow up the WTC. I wouldn't underestimate the ability of a local jury to avert their gaze from the crime. But you're right about slaps on the wrist, I suspect they'll be pleading to something minor.
I grew up in the northeast, and I remember racial tension reaching a boiling point in the late '60's when I was a small child. In 1980, things still were very tense in my northeastern hometown.
Lucky for me, I had plenty of trouble with white people, too, and we knew nice black people. So, I never judged people based on color alone. We lived in the mixed/black section of town, and, yes, there was crime there. But the white section of town was just as frightening. I suspect most of you grew up in places where most white people were good, decent people. I grew up in a different kind of place. :-0

For the record, I'm not a member of the "we". I'm married with children, and our family is mixed black/white. I don't share your view above.

Yep, every day for them is a carnival, every person a target. I sometimes wonder what it is like to be so unmotivated that this is all they find fulfilling.
I started my rant with accolades about how nice nearly all blacks were down South once and never claimed to judge folks simply on skin color. Skin color is only about heat processing. But what passes for way too much black culture is the issue. It's been a helluva price to pay for redress of past wrongs I had no part in and that were the custom of human history since time began....slavery and discrimination.
Your mixed race family being great and understandably so notwithstanding, there are almost insurmountable problems in black culture and equivocating that with whites as though we are as much a problem is dishonest statistically. Yes, whites commit crime and corrupt city administrations etc but down here, everywhere there is a predominate black community it's endemic crime and almost any local government down here they control is corrupted and dysfunctional.....just look at Katrina as but one example of hundreds across the South and from what I can see places like Camden, Detroit, Gary, and East St Louis are no better.
When I was a boy one could go to any black neighborhood at any time of the day or night and not have to worry about white skin. Since the hatred bubbled up and was tolerated and endorsed by many black leaders, their churches, social groups and accepted by whites it's become almost universal except amongst more professional class blacks or the rural religious conservative ones who brook no such hate. Yet a black man can almost without exception (I know of two the past 25 years) enter a white neighborhood with no fear.
Something is wrong with that and as a white guy who first was raised believing in accommodating blacks for redress and was raised that way then to grow up and have to battle them frequently ideologically and even physically on occasion simply for being white and being an opportunity to them changed me.
That your experiences are much different speaks of many things but one point remains the same. Except for living Manhattan at one point in my 20s, I have always lived in environs with majority or near majority black populations and being white has carried a risk since thug culture and political resentment took hold....and not just in the US.
I'm raising my kids not to be naive or guilty but respectful until shown a reason not to be. My 8 year old in public school already got a taste when some black kids they bus in from the ghetto out to our suburbs started shaking down lunch money from scared white kids who know nothing of the predatory behavior these poor kids have been raised in down in the projects. We are now dealing with 3-4 stacked early birth generations of this. I don't know how to fix it anymore. We just live with the ramifications.
And yes it has carried over to low class white kids with burred haircuts and baggy pants and hostile demeanors...I despise them but the proportion is not even close. They are an anomaly. They are actually what will in 20-40 years a mixed class of thuggery unless things change with the same serial illegitimacy and crime etc.
Sorry that's a long rant. I wish black culture was like it used to be and when my wife and I meet blacks socially who wish to escape all that and seem like folks we can relate to it's nice. It reminds me of a time when that was commonplace. How to get back there....who knows...it's up to them. The relationship between blacks and whites down south is much more complicated and familiar...I'll save that long wind..bet you're grateful.
