"A good catch-word can obscure analysis for fifty years."

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: change; propaganda
I came across this as I was finishing Shales' book and found that it succinctly captured my reaction to Senator Obama. He's obviously taken a page directly out of FDR's playbook and achieving the same type of mindless reaction. I have no idea who Holmes was referencing when he said this, but the quote is obviously timeless.

This is the same phenomenon that gave America Oprah Winfrey. But this is A LOT scarier. All it gave Oprah was tons of money and influence. Obamalamadingdong will have REAL POWER to damage the country in ways about which Winfrey could only dream!
