A Canadian stand-up comedian will face a human rights tribunal hearing after a woman complained she and her friends faced a "tirade of homophobic and sexist comments" while attending one of his shows.
In a decision released this week, the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal ruled there is enough evidence to hear the case of Vancouver woman Lorna Pardy against Toronto comedian Guy Earle. Zesty's Restaurant in Vancouver, where the May 22, 2007, show took place, was also named in the complaint. The restaurant has since closed.

Pretty frightening how fascism and communism seem to be spreading more and more throughout the world. And you can be absolutely sure that an Obama victory in November will put this country on the fast track to this kind of fascism as well. Bet on it.
Let’s just hope that the “true conservatives” don’t decide to “teach us all a lesson” again, like in 2006, and sit this one out.

Rub their noses in it. Rhetorically ask whether the “Human Rights Commission” is going to demand “negro” segregation next, or make women quit their jobs and get back into the kitchen “barefoot and pregnant”.
An especially tender subject in Canada, perhaps the “Human Rights Commission” will order Native American children to be taken from their parents and raised in government schools.

A few extra items, it was on a Tuesday and things were slow. He was trying to draw down the evening and sort of wrap it up. Two women came in and were pretty well on with drinks (no harm of course). He alleged they were "tongue and tonsil wrestling". He says he absolutely did not care. Then they started to heckle. He made this rather daring statement to them.

It got worse from there, including the "chest thing"- I presume challenging the man to a brawl.
Perhaps the man will jump start quite a career. He does have a sense of humour.

I'm not sure what it is NAMBLA 'expresses' publicly, but what they profess is a criminal act in every jurisdiction in the land and therefor is not protected speech.

About 99.99999% of everything you do leaves no record, or of it does that record is in such a mass of information that it's not of much value to anyone but yourself and your creditors.

The watchword in the federal bureaucracy the last twenty years has been to "work smart", which is a nice way of saying it's better to squeeze as much productivity out of the system that you can so that you don't have to spend all your time working.
