Soros, the Man Who Cries Wolf, Now Is Warning of a 'Superbubble'
By GREG IP
June 21, 2008; Page B1
He has cried wolf many times, but this time George Soros says the beast is really upon us.
Mr. Soros, the chairman of Soros Fund Management, is best-known as a speculator, philanthropist and political activist. He made a fortune by doing things such as betting against Britain's currency in 1992 and Thailand's in 1997.
A Hungarian refugee, he has spent millions to promote democracy and learning in post-Soviet nations. He also has spent heavily to promote liberal causes and has been an ardent critic of President Bush.

Hmm... I suspect nothing is more important to him than how and when the crash occurs, if he want to advance his political agenda. That is, winning the presidential election.
I suppose the best case for him is a sudden catastrophic crash. If it turns out to be a progressively worsening stagnation, gathering momentum at a more gradual pace at least initially, it may not turn out to be a great disappointment for him.

If he and the other bright boys have manipulated the markets to get Obambi elected, they forgot the maxim that creating chaos breeds chaos. Once unleashed, it cannot be brought under control.

Aren't they the new poster child of all that's wrong with the world and the cause of artificially high fuel prices instead of skyrocketing demand and denied supply
Just where is the Moonbat rage ???

Rush Limbaugh thinks Soros is going to win big by trying to short the market.
To: CharlotteVRWC
should have said “wants to win big”

Is there anything in Soros personal history that indicates he is trustworthy?Since Soros is technically a convicted felon, I tend to question his involvement in financing political campaigns.

Soros’ father changed their family name from Schwarts to Soros.
They were a bunch of chicken shi’ites.
I wonder how many went to the ovens because of George.
I wonder how many died before they were gassed because of George.
He is one of the most evil people in all of history.

What worries me about Soros is that he’s well-known to some of the richest people on Earth, especially Warren Buffett and many hedge fund managers on Wall Street. In short, Soros has the influence to cause a large number of hedge funds to deliberately skew any commodities or equities market for nefarious reasons.
To: TigerLikesRooster
I doesn't hurt when he has enough money to manipulate the market to make his predictions come to pass. Don't be naive to think that there isn't a lot of this going on. He's not the only one. I've seen some of the big players in the stock market lately doing this and the government looks the other way. IMO

If anyone in the world could recognize a supercrash, it would be George Soros. He has certainly engineered some rather more modest ones throughout the world in a number of different countries.
Is there any way to revoke his citizenship?
I thought not. WAY too embedded with the traitorous party in this country, as he is their main source of funding, and a good deal of their talking points.

The Hunt brothers were wiped out by regulatory change, deliberately enacted to shut them down. Most people, myself included until recently, believed that increased margin requirements accomplished this goal, but this apparently had the perverse effect of causing silver to spike further for a short time. Being required to actually take delivery is what finally proved to be the undoing of the Hunt brothers, if I’m not mistaken.

Since the large part of the world economy is based on debt to be paid by money that does not exist, he may just be right.
