Every group that wanted to have a parade during the Democratic National Convention will.
And every parade will end "within walking distance" of the Pepsi Center — but nobody knows yet exactly where that will be.
That is the upshot of a decision late today by Denver officials to hand out parade permits during the convention, scheduled Aug. 25-28. The final ending point of the parade route is expected to be determined in the next few weeks, said Sue Cobb, spokeswoman for Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper.

‘68 and ‘08 will both have the police fighting the same old hippie wackos, except in Denver, it will be inside Convention Hall.

I’m really hoping that “Recreate ‘68” makes a big stir at the Dem convention. Check ‘em out; they are probably the most rad group showing up in Denver:
The problem with the disruption of these groups is that they will have to through the Denver Police and the Colorado National Guard and other security to get to the Pepsi center and that a good many police and Soldiers will get hurt in the process. I hope it’s quiet and the protest groups just go quietly home to their “feally good’ private universes.
