Michelle Obama's eyes flicker tentatively even as she offers a trained smile. As her campaign plane arcs over the Flathead Range in Montana, she is asked to consider her complicated public image.
Conservative columnists accuse her of being unpatriotic and say she simmers with undigested racial anger. A blogger who supported Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton circulates unfounded claims that Obama gave an accusatory speech in her church about the sins of "whitey." Obama shakes her head.
"You are amazed sometimes at how deep the lies can be," she says in an interview. Referring to a character in a 1970s sitcom, she adds: "I mean, 'whitey?' That's something that George Jefferson would say. Anyone who says that doesn't know me. They don't know the life I've lived. They don't know anything about me."

The rumors are there is more she supposedly said than just "Whitey." The phrase I think that was used was "mouth droping," to describe when the audience heard her supposed rant.
For a person to say publicly it was the "First time she was proud of America," that is pretty outrageouly damning to her character, I don't for a second, with the pastor she's been around, and the circles she runs in, put it past her one bit to have had a "racist rant" at some point in her adult life.

Another question I had earlier, how the hell can there be an Obama Presidential Library down the road when nothing about the Obamas is subject to inquiry?

She says she intends to evoke a John F. Kennedy-like idealism and highlight her own journey, but in her commanding cadences, some people — and not just conservatives — hear a lecture. There is not need for a tape that likely does not exist.

"My wife never said that."
or in Michele Obama's case:
"I never said that!"
Just denial about the tape's existence and accusations that her enemies are "liars."
But never once does she say, "I never said such horrible things, so I don't know why you keep asking me about it."
I have also noticed a spike in their photo ops with white people.
Something might be brewing afterall, or perhaps it's just a hoax perpetrated by the Clintons.
I would never doubt the devious plans of Hillary, though.
Hillary's campaign is still "suspended," and that forced meeting at Feinstein's house was interesting.
If you take this as a denial, you must have taken, "It all depends on what the meaning of is, is..." literally to mean something!

The republicans might be holding back some of Berry’s campaign ending skeletons. They will keep Berry in the race and then drop the bomb on him sometime in September.That would give his replacement only a short period of time to get up and running. It could happen.
