Chapter 10
18 And as Barack was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to him and knelt before him, and began asking him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"...
21 And looking at him, Barack felt a love for him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
22 But at these words his face fell, and he went away grieved, for he was one who owned much property.
22a And Barack, looking around, said to his desciples, "Go, summon the tax collectors, and follow him; take from him everything that he has; for he is obviously the greatest of all sinners, and Caesar has need of his wealth..."
Absolutely brilliant!

Did you see this?
Somebody stole your idea!
Jeremiah (Wright) 1:15, 16
15 Wherefore behold, if there be any amongst you that do lack faith in he Holy Candidate Obama and do question or criticize, him shall you call racist and you shall swiftly thrust him to hell.
16 Verily, from such, turn away. For theirs is the way to perdition and the very soul of honky redneckism.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2025607/posts?page=12
I like FReeper Galt. Anyone who can invoke John Galt &
P.J. O’Rourke on the same thread... Well that’s just kewl!
As it says in the book of Mediocrity, verses 3:1-3, from the Politically Correct Gender Neutral Barackianity for Dummies Version (PCGNBDV):
And then the Magic One told them a story. He said, “Once there were two domestic assistants. One was given ten talents for his/her/its labor, and the other was given twenty talents for his/her/its labor. The former domestic assistant asked, ‘Why have I received less than my co-worker?’ So I replied, it doesn’t matter: hand it over. Thank you, come again!”
WIJG and I engage in secret meetings to discuss these things. Aw, dangit! I blew our cover! ;)
I thought I had found your pen name.
This is fun. Too bad the Barackians don’t get it.
Hello! Mr. Galt?
[... “Woe to you who labor, for your inheritance
will be given to another. It is better to receive
taxpayer-funded benefits than to provide them.”...]
You are getting really good at this.
(((((((((HUGS TO MRS. OUTSIDER)))))))))))
The Lady is effusively huggy these days, so you’re in luck. ;)
I’m feelin’ the love!
That’s right up there with the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!
Classic!
Ping.
...it contradicted the morality my mother had taught me, a morality of subtle distinctions- between individuals of goodwill and those who wished me ill, between active malice and ignorance of indifference.
I am going to have to give his mother more credit than I previously had. In her own words she was a "fellow traveler," IOWs a leftist, a communist. But here he is describing how she taught him about personal responsibility. It is an aspect of cause and effect. What Barack calls "subtle distinctions" is in essence that every person is responsible for their own actions and not for the actions of others.
And yet perhaps it was a framework that blacks in this country could no longer afford; perhaps it weakened black resolve, encouraged confusion within the ranks.
But he rejects that sound principle, his mothers guidance, in exchange for personal identification with a group he found more appealing than his mother.
Desperate times called for desperate measures, and for many blacks, times were chronically desperate.
Having rejected the principle of personal responsibility he could now allow in his mind the idea that all blacks should be free from that and justified in placing the blame on all whites. He no longer suffered from the yoke of his own actions thanks to the view his new friends gave him.
If nationalism could create a strong and effective insularity, deliver on its promise of self respect,...
Insularity from responsibility and respect derived from a group identity. He was finally free to act on the visions of self-grandeur his mother had instilled in him early on and he had found a source of inspiration.
... then the hurt it might cause well-meaning whites, of the inner turmoil it caused people like me, would be of little consequence.
The end justifies the means. He convinces himself of his rightness.
He is building a case, not for himself, but for a cause. For a culture of victim hood. It is the underpinning of all modern liberalism drawn from the essence of Marxist philosophy. It has the hallmark of a nationalist identity based on class distinctions defined by victim vs oppressor statuses. He didn't know it then I expect, this was just his way of dealing with his incongruous upbringing, but that was the root of his present day philosophy which is often enunciated as "our national identity" these days. Of course you won't be part of "our national identity" if you don't follow Barack Obama. How could you? he is defining that.
I'm sure he truly isn't interested in Jeremiah Wright's tired old black separatism. Obama is working on something much bigger than that. He does want to include white people. And brown and yellow and red and anyone else who wants to share in his vision. He wants us all to be a part of his hope for change, of his new nationalism.
It is much more than merely American nationalism too as the idea of national boundaries is as old and tired as Pastor Wright's myopic vision of identity politics. First things first of course. He needs to win over America first by securing the Presidency. But one need only share his vision of hope and change to be a part of Barack Obama's view of a "new day in politics" which is global in scope and Marxist in design.
He is Karl Marx' messiah. The fulfillment in flesh of the old communist prophet's dream of a worker's paradise where "you are your dream."

Obamassiah has come!
;>)
Or just weird...
;>)
There you are!
Thanks for the great post.
Brother Galt has returned to us.
(I was out watching the Lakers game - sorry for the late reply. As for the post, God can prompt even a jackass to speak, so I am apparently [at least from time to time] in reasonably good company... ;>)
[... like the secret meetings on Thursdays
and our monthly ice cream socials...]
Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
This extraordinary weirdo will be gone for the evening.
Carry on gents. Stand in the gap until I return. Tallyho!!!!
Oy vey!
I will still be laughing about some of these posts and the Synod Assembly this weekend. I am going to be spending Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Gettysburg dealing with my fellow delegates from the Delaware-Maryland Synod. This appears likely to try my patience (of which I have unfortunately little to start with) so I will certainly need the humor.
And from the prophecy of Barack, chapter 3
And a woman in the crowd said unto the Magic One, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that gave you suck.” And the Magic One saith unto the crowds, “Verily, verily, I say; of the white woman, ‘I never knew you’. For the LORD who forms darkness and creates light has created me of both so that I may choose whom to serve, and for me and my house, we shall serve darkness.”
