Is Barack Obama the Messiah?
Lots of people have pondered the possibility that Barack is our Divine Redeemer. Google the question "Is Barack Obama the Messiah?" and you'll get more than 35,000 hits. Enter just the words "Messiah" and "Obama" and you'll get nearly 10 times that.
But there's more concrete evidence. Since Obama declared his candidacy, there have been remarkably few biblical plagues. And lions and lambs seem open to bilateral negotiations.
Obama's apostles are hard to dismiss. Oprah simply calls him "The One," because "we need politicians who know how to be the truth." (Jesus says in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth . . .") Oprah goes on to say Obama will help us "evolve to a higher plane," which would put Obama in the role of our Intelligent Designer. According to The New York Times, Obama's volunteers are trained to eschew discussions of the issues and instead "testify" about how they "came to Obama." For many, he's no retro-redeemer, but a 21st century savior, a Matrix-messiah and Neo for our modern-day Nineveh.
-clipped-
And then there's the Gospel according to Obama himself. In January, he told Dartmouth students that they will know to vote for him because ". . . a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote for Barack." When asked in an interview what sin is, Obama defined it as "Being out of alignment with my values." Apparently, the editor failed to capitalize the "M" in "my."

Could just be thousands of article and blogs asking this question. Doesn't mean people think he's the Messiah.

Yep, if he wins the election, there will be a coronation, not an inauguration, next January.
Here we thought Hillary looked at the campaign as her coronoation, and we how Obama is worshipped by certain people.

“Since Obama declared his candidacy, there have been remarkably few biblical plagues.”
If/when he’s elected, however, there will be a rain of Nanny State government regulation, coupled with a storm of taxes to pay for the plague of bureaucrat locusts to enforce the aforementioned regulations on us unenlightened. Not to mention an endless, searing thunder of hot air emanating from the White House.

His Messiah act is a good indicator of his Megalomania. His supporters are looking for their Jim Jones. But when Obama gets pushed and things start going poorly, I believe he'll come unglued and show an angry side that people haven't talked much about so far. He's a very thin-skinned whiny ninny.

"I am absolutely certain," Obama proclaimed in his victory speech, "that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs for the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal. This was the moment this was the time when we came together to remake this great nation. . . ."Bit full of himself, huh?
Even Jesus didn't write an autobiography and obama wrote his first while in his thirties.

Yall would have loved the commencement speeches that I had to endure over the weekend. My wonderful daughter graduated from UC Riverside on Sunday. The keynote was delivered by Michael Lynton, the Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures. It was basically an Obama campaign speech... He quoted Obama and Clinton, made comparisons to the Carter-era(though he didn’t call it that), then tried to pin the Carter-era on Reagan(by shifting the dates), finally he reminded everyone to vote for change. Then the student speaker gave an uninspiring speech about how we should demand social change.

RUSH: Sounds wonderful, right? To a lot of airheads, to a lot of dorks, to a lot of dunces this sounds just fabulous. "We began to provide care for the sick." We've got the best medical care in the world! "Good jobs for the jobless." The unemployment rate is 5%! Anybody not working in America today does not want to work. It's just that simple. "...when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal." Ladies and gentlemen, in order to protect the integrity and decorum of this program, I am going to step aside for a moment and bring aboard the Official Obama Criticizer: Bo Snerdley.
SNERDLEY: This is Bo Snerdley, the EIB Official Barack Criticizer, certified black enough to criticize -- and I have a message. Senator Obama in your victory speech last night you declared that this was America's moment that somehow now, if we are willing to work for it -- fight for it, believe in it -- we're all going to look back someday and realize, this was the moment that we began to care for the sick, to have jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans would begin to slow and our planet would begin to heal. This was the moment we came together to remake this great nation. That's what you said. Excuse me, sir. What country have you been living in? Americans have been working hard since there was America! It's that work that made this the world's lone superpower, that work that built a nation that is the envy of the world. And what is this business about the oceans begin to slow? What does that mean? In fact, what do you mean? This is insulting, sir! America is great; it was great before you stepped on the scene. The thing that frightens us, sir, is that you are hell-bent on destroying what is great in the name of liberalism.
Now, a translation for the EIB brothers and sisters in the 'hood: My brutha, O! Big ups on your win, yo. You the big dog now, but yo, listen up, what's up with that speech, bro? Check it out. You running for president or you running to become black Moses, yo? You going to all day like, you know, step on the scene, the world, the ocean's going to part, then start slowing down? Yo, that sounds a little fishy to me, yo. And the joblessness? You want to get jobs for people, yo? Doing what? But if you throwin' down jobs I got a few peeps to hit you up with, brothers and sisters looking for jobs out there better paying money, Rezko, yo? Look, I got news for you, most of us even the typical white people, yo, we already care for sick people -- and dig this, bro. What kind of policy you holding back that can heal the planet? Especially since it's not sick. Between you and me, yo, the earf isn't sick, doesn't really need to be healed. Yo, bro, you need to chill, you know? You're not God, despite yo press coverage.
That concludes our statement.
RUSH: The Official Obama Criticizer, Bo Snerdley.

LOL, yep I just went and verified, too! I re-did the graphic, and amazingly when I uploaded it I got the same URL! So, the graphic is now with the correct quote.
And, yes, his audacity is amazing isn’t it? I truly think he’s really bought into all the hype surrounding himself. I think he is seeing himself as the kind of “savior” that Che Guevara was - a savior to replace Jesus, and the Christian religion with marxist ‘religion’!

Did he and Oprah REALLY say these things, for REAL? If they DID, this is just damned scary. I've been reading stuff similar to this over the past few days, similar quotes from his glazed-eyed followers and it is very disheartening! One has to wonder if he is the anti-Christ or false prophet. It would only make sense the the AC or FP be bi-racial, appealing to blacks and whites.

Our son majored in religion and graduated from a private university that once trained excellent ministers. He got indoctrinated in liberation theology and brainwashed with institutional racism and dropped his plans for divinity school.

TRUTH... The following link, and note is from Falsani’s personal blog. The entire text of her interview with Barack in 2004 is available at the link...
Barack Obama:
The 2004 “God Factor” Interview Transcript
http://falsani.blogspot.com/2008/04/barack-obama-2004-god-factor-interview.html
Editor’s Note:
At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2004, when I was the religion reporter (I am now its religion columnist) at the Chicago Sun-Times, I met then-State Sen. Barack Obama at Café Baci, a small coffee joint at 330 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, to interview him exclusively about his spirituality. Our conversation took place a few days after he’d clinched the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate seat that he eventually won. We spoke for more than an hour. He came alone. He answered everything I asked without notes or hesitation. The profile of Obama that grew from the interview at Cafe Baci became the first in a series in the Sun-Times called “The God Factor,” that eventually became my first book, The God Factor: Inside the Spiritual Lives of Public People (FSG, March 2006.) Because of the staggering interest in now U.S. Sen. Obama’s faith and spiritual predilections, I thought it might be helpful to share that interivew, uncut and in its entirety, here.
******************************************************
And, here is the exact quote:
GG:
Do you believe in sin?
OBAMA:
Yes.
GG:
What is sin?
OBAMA:
Being out of alignment with my values.
