Kerry Responds to Supreme Court Decision on Habeas Corpus

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sen. John Kerry today made the follow statement in response to the Supreme Court’s recent decision that foreign detainees held at Guantanamo Bay may challenge their detention in U.S. courts:

“Today, the Supreme Court affirmed what almost everyone but the Administration and their defenders in Congress always knew. The Constitution and the rule of law bind all of us even in extraordinary times of war. No one is above the Constitution. The historic writ of habeas corpus endures. This is a major rebuke of the Administration’s post-9/11 policies that have divided us at home, alienated and isolated us abroad, and made Americans less safe. The next step is to erase this great stain on our moral authority by promptly shutting down Guantanamo.”

Who is John Kerry? He’s the guy who served in Vietnam and killed innocent civilians on the river and covered it up by claiming that the adults were VC. Nothing about the young boy he machine-gunned to death.

These brilliant "brain trusts" that are the Liberal Democrat Party probably don't realize that the decision that was decided by the "Supreme Court" made a decision based on the interpretation of the law that has not ever been made since the dawn of this country, don't they?

Question to the "Brain Trustee's" of the Supreme court: If it was so obvious, why did you side on the side of the ENEMY of the country that you are sworn to protect by the interpretation of the laws of America?

got it John. Enemy combatants who have been at war with the U.S. are to be treated as if they are criminals suspected of burglary, and arrested by your local police. Legally, the war against Islamo-fascism is a criminal justice problem.

Great minds truly do think alike. That's exactly the image that occurred to me as I read Kerry's drivel. If life were a "Twilight Zone" movie, Kerry would find himself in combat in Iraq, with a gang of probable Jihadis in front of him, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg-type behind him to remind him to read everyone their rights before he asked them to surrender peacefully.

This man is such a joke.  "No one is above the constitution" ???  I bet everyone that is not an American believes they are above the constitution.  How in the heck can this man believe that our NOT applying the our constitution to people that are not Americans and have never even set foot on American soil has somehow made us less safe?  To quote a skinny blonde... "America 100% Al Qaeda Free since 2001" ... thanks to Bush.

As far as being isolated the best I can recall is that an anti American Chirac was sent to the dustbin of life and replace with an extremely pro-American Sarkozy, the anti-American Schroeder was replaced by Bush friend Angela Merkle, Silvio Berlisconi has recently returned to power in Italy, Stephen Harper replaced the snot nosed fool in Canada and all of Eastern Europe worships at Bush's feet. 

It is really scary to think this man nearly became President of the United States.  As I remember, John McCain maintained his friendship with Kerry and didn't bad mouth him at all in the 2004 election.  Kerry first showed his lack of courage and honor in Vietnam and he is showing it again.

As time passes, the bullshit no longer flourishes and true history emerges.

Osama, Obama, all the Liberal Democrat Partisans on the SCOTUS and all America Hating Dumbo-crats everywhere won another victory in their quest to destroy America.
Maybe Conservatives should just join the Muslims in creating a Draconian conservative society ruled by Sharia law. All good clean conservatives would have no problem. All Gay-Centrist Liberals would quickly be exterminated. Maybe we are looking at it wrong.... Maybe in the end we find out the conservative Islamofascists are our best friends... Doesn’t matter, cause the Islamofascists will win at this rate so the Liberals are screwed anyway which is the silver lining.

The only people we are protecting by fighting the Islamofascists are the Liberals. I’m tired of defending the Liberals. Lets bring Sharia law to America and see how the stupid f*cking Liberals like it. Cause they will be the ones affected by the extreme conservativism of the Islamofascists. Conservatives and Conservative Muslims can probably get along when it comes right down to it. Or, we let the Islamofascists exterminate the Liberals from our midst with public hangings, beheadings, stonings and the like and once they are out of the way, then the deck is cleared to deal with the Islamofascists once and for all. Really doesn’t matter since in the end the Islamofascists will win - and the asinine Liberals in this nation will see to it that they do.

That does it! I am now open to moving to another country. Lincoln, who suspended Habeas Corpus for Americans is called our greatest president while our current supreme court rules that we must grant Habeas Corpus to prisoners of war. The idiots have definitely taken over the asylum.
