PERSEUS-SOROS BIOPHARMACEUTICAL FUND, L.P., which Perseus co-manages, was formed in 2000 with capital commitments totaling $449 million to make investments in life sciences companies
So Perseus is a business partner with George Soros. And Johnson is the Vice Chairman ...
Incidentally, as Say Anything Blog notes, Perseus also seems to own the publisher of the Scott McClellan book

I have this recurring thought that Obama, while certainly not stupid, may not fully realize who and what is behind his candidacy...(or maybe I’m the naive one).

He’s done it before in other countries. How old is he? He looks 90. Is he in good health, I want to know. But, I guess I’m dreaming he will not be with us long because he has friends to think the same as he so if we lose one there are others to replace him.
I can just as easily say to recognize that and get the word out...or lose.
I am getting the word out about his associations, his positions, and their potential impact in the best way I can and will continue to do so.
If the opposition or others want to call that fear mongering...fine...I will continue to get the word out. Others are free to get whatever word out they are inclined to disiminate. Between us, perhapos we can have an impact.
I hate to say it, but Soros is among the lesser of the evils who might be engineering the dim-witted Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama. I vacillate between Soros, the Chicago machine and, scarily, Islamo-fascists.
This is a presidential candidate who won’t release his birth certificate—hmmm what’s in a name? The presidential candidate who refuses to release his transcripts from Columbia University. The presidential candidate who refuses to release records from his stint in the Illinois senate. Does anyone else think this is unusual?

The only pundit/journalist I know of that has criticized Soros has been Bill O’Reilly.
So George Soros' business partner is helping select Obama's veep. How interesting that Obama just keeps coming up with friends (and appointees) with very dubious associations.

Senator Juan McAmnesty is also funded by Soros (search FR for info). And as to "very dubious associations" one can't get any more dubious than Juan McAmnesty's 'Hispanic Outreach' point man, Señor Juan Hernandez - a dual nationality MEXICAN who was in the Vicente Fox administration. Hernandez believes in NO BORDERS and complete amnesty for all illegals.
Oh, and Juan Hernandez's favorite phrase is "My Friend(s)". Whatta coincidence he's on McAmnesty's staff, my friend. /s

We've abandoned the limited government platform and that is the only platform the RP can win on.
Just the same, I believe we must do all we can to defeat Obama because his positions on all issues are far, far worse than the bad positions of McCain in the areas where he errs...and those are significant areas.
My vote will be much, much more against Obama than it is for McCain.

I know ... I get luciferian imaginings ... because he just hasn’t struck me as that calculating .. then I hit myself side my head. But I’m still ever confused, diverted and bewildered by his distractions/contradictions.
I think Michelle is a real viper/operator and that Soros actually IS this nation’s electoral puppeteer, funding ALL the candidates through whatever stealth means at his disposal, from behind the curtain.
Obama brags about not taking money from lobbyists and special interests and it’s all the “little people,” but you know that’s just a pile of BS. There’ve been been many descriptions of how 501(c)3’s could have their groups send in individual small donations to conceal the special interest group.
It’s all doable today with Visa cash cards and internet commerce. I would bet if someone did a detailed investigation of all the donors to Obama, McCain and Clinton, we’d find a pile of suspicious connections.
