Classic corrupt police tactic.
Typically, they will bust you for "disobeying an order by a law enforcement officer" and "resisting arrest" or some combination of similar charges by other names used in your jurisdiction. Then, after you go through the whole rigamarole of fingerprinting, etc. and suffer the humiliation of time in jail and a bench or jury trial, you are found "not guilty" of "resisting arrest" but guilty of "disobeying a LE officer's order" - a misdemeanor. The judge knows you will have a difficult, if not impossible time succeeding with a lawsuit for unlawful arrest - because the jury will believe the cop and after all, you were found guilty of a crime.

That's how they getcha in our formerly free republic.

But don't take my word for it.
Before you start traipsing around in public sporting a sidearm, check your own state's statutes and local ordinances to make sure you have solid legal ground to stand on before John Law stops you.

A 9mm *REVOLVER*????

Back in the 1980’s Ruger did make some double action revolvers in 9mm. They did not use half moon clips but used a round wire on the extractor.
