To: blam
I figure people have got to decrease their dependence on others to feed them, so I started a garden. I got one tomato and one banana pepper. The few stalks of corn didn't make it either. Sigh...back to the drawing board.

Good news though...I just got back from Walmart and milk is down to 3 something a gallon now. Awhile back it was over 5.

I can get $30/gallon for the salsa I make from the peppers and tomatoes out of my garden. (food cost < 12.6%, labor is me, overhead is already figured in)

I expect about 80-140 gallons of tomatoes this year, depending on the weather.
