Same-Sex Couple Sues After Faced With Ultimatum at Mariners Baseball Game
Anyone who has attended a Major League Baseball game in the past decade has probably seen a "Kiss Cam" where couples throughout the ballpark are featured locking lips on the big-screen JumboTrons.
But controversy over ballpark kissing erupted at Safeco Field in Seattle this week when a same-sex couple claimed they were discriminated against because of their sexual orientation, which stadium officials deny.
Sirbrina Guerrero, 23, says she and her partner, who requested anonymity, were just "exchanging pecks," not acting any differently than heterosexual couples at the game, when park officials told them to stop "making out" or leave the facility.
"We were acting the same as any other dates that were out there, except we were a lesbian couple," she said. "When you bring a date to a game, you kiss once in a while. But it's not like we were making out. We were just kissing as regular couples do. I would never make out with anyone at a baseball game."

If only one person is offended by something seen as conservative, pro-life, or pro-heterosexual, it is quickly stomped out. However, if one person is (or even many people are) offended by behaviors that have typically been shunned by conservative moral people, they are seen as intolerant and discriminatory.
They must be butt-ugly, or else none of the guys there would be complaining about it.
Personally, I would like to see a lot less PDA period.

Yep! Those are the PC rules. If one leftist is offended, then the offending activity must cease. If 15,000 conservatives are offended, then they should be forced by law to become more “tolerant” of the offending behavior.

I have to agree with them there. I hate to see queers kissing too, but with the libs letting them have their “rights” all I can say is bring a barf bag when you go out to places like this.

As to the jumbo screen projection of this, the camera operators at ballparks regularly pan the audience for all sorts of things they would never put up on the big screen.
Things like people puking, girls flashing the camera man, and even couples discretely having sex.
They then pass around these “blooper reels” that they don’t show to the public.
I’d put the lesbian liplock into this category and suggest that whoever was running the editing board that day be called into the manager’s office.
If such problems continue, punish the camera staff for scouting for such outrageous shots to begin with.

I've prolly been to hundreds (okay, a lot) of White Sox games in my life, going back to ..oh about 1955 and never seen couples kissing. Heck I've even taken the wife a few times ;-)
Of course I can't speak for those North side 'Cub Fans' who go to that quaint little Wrigley Field more to be seen and get drunk than to watch the game. (Hey Bridgette, guess what. I went to a party and Ball Game broke out)

You realize that that is what it will lead to. If the queers can’t share a kiss in public then straight people can’t either. Thus what some other blogger just said...Shria Law! I realize what happened here. Some parent got bent out of shape because her kid saw two women kissing. That same parent would not have done the same over a man and a woman at this game. Like the article states...there is a “kissing cam”...which I have a feeling was for STRAIGHT people! What is going to happen here is that these queers will sue over this woman who complained, for their queer rights, then no one will be allowed to kiss in public. Thus....if they can’t kiss no one can!!!

If they are just kissing, once and a while, I don’t see that this bothers anyone. I know it is upsetting to see queers doing that, however. (thus bring a barf bag)
As for the family part......the queers can argue that part too because they can adopt now or the women can get pregnant by other means, so therefor they are a (f****ed up) family.
My best advise to everyone is to teach your kids, when they see queers kissing in public.....what that blogger “Chode” is always saying.....They are “filthy disease ridden queers”, hey say it enough times to your kids and when they see stuff like this in public they will just think that.
Yes, PDA has been with us for a long long time, starting back in those innocent days when it was anything but “political”-—but now, any exhibition of it, from the hetero or homo sides, is considered “political”. It’s just part of a larger, more inclusive social phenom that has at its core a certain kind of exhibitionism. Consider how many people we see every day walking around talking into their little mouthpieces 2 inches from their lips, carrying on usually LOUD conversations with people who are strangers to us, but not to them, on sometimes the most personal of subjects. This has become a socially acceptable way of exposing yourself, just like flashers in raincoats. And the whole genesis of it is with the lack of decorum among people of ALL “persuasions” who can’t keep private behavior private.

This is the biggest problem with the Pirates right now, their owner is a huge poofer, he is more interested in gay rights/advocacy crap than he is actually putting together a winning team. They even have “GAY DAY” where a big gaggle all march through town and then own 1 section of the park with their flags flying and all the other nonsense that goes with it. Of course they don’t really mention it to the other 20,000+ people that buy tickets that day that that will be going on....
I really don’t give a rats butt what two folks do behind closed doors... I truly don’t. But I don’t take my kids to a sporting event to have discussions about the mentally ill.

I’m 54 yrs old and I’ve never made out in public. I guess I thought that stuff was private, silly me.
The younger generation does not share your point of view. I am speaking of straight people too. My parents think like you, but I don’t mind kissing in public.
They look somewhat alike. I’ve noticed that of many gay or lesbian couples. It’s almost like...Narcissus kissing his own reflection. Draw your own conclusion.
