At this point, I’m beginning to believe that Beckel and others don’t know squat about this tape, but they’re trying to force the hand of those who might be holding it while they can still dump Obama for Hillary.
Which could be why they put out the rumor about being released today. When it doesn't happen it will make people believe there is no such tape. I really think it is way to early to bring it out.

An early release could have several impacts, none of which are good. It could allow Hillary back in the race. Or it could diminish the impact of the tape on the general election. I think the Dems are behind the floating the rumor that the tape will be released today.

That’s why it is so very important for all the major media to spend today telling the world that Obama IS the Democratic Presidential candidate. The more they repeat it, the harder it will be for superdelegates to wise up and change their vote to Hillary.
With any luck, they will be forced to, but after Obama is so ingrained as the nominee that his constituency will be furious at having “their turn” stolen from them by “dirty tricks”.
The Democrats in NJ could pull this off because Toricelli wasn’t all that well-loved, and because he resigned first, and only later was a “savior” picked to fill his place.
But the dynamics in this race are quite different. Even if Obama dropped out, his supporters would blame Hillary.
It would only work if they found some OTHER person, someone who was above reproach, to come in and save the party.

Let’s see if the leadership of the GOP has the spine and guts to expose these traitors for the sake of our country and for the sake of our children and grandchildren’s future. If we took every male politician in Congress and added them together, we wouldn’t find one set of gonads worthy of representing this country. IMO, we need to vote every one of them out of office. The female politicians in Congress are equally as worthless and reprehensible (Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Waters, etc.). Who needs foreign enemies when we have enough here at home?

No, it wouldn’t work at all. Obama’s supporters aren’t voting for him because he’s qualified. Or good looking. Or intelligent. They’re voting for him because he’s black.

Not only that but if the tape is held for the general election the Dems can say that it is old news and that the tape was held for partisan political purposes and is not news worthy.
I think it could very well be a hoax. I’m simply saying that I believe that the Dems don’t know for sure and are trying to force whoever might be holding it to ‘put up or shut up’ while the Dems can still dump Obama if it does prove true.

I’ve always found this “celebrity worship” behavior in people sickening. They live in the greatest country in the world and they act like he has arrived to lead them out of bondage and release them from torment.

Yes, those evil Republicans up to their nasty tricks. We all know Democrats play fair and would never try to release information right before an election. It is not like the Democrats would indict Casper Weinberger, or release Bush's drunk driving record, or forge documents of Bush's military service right before an election.
Remember what political advisors do: make a minimal issue seem real bad, and a big mess seem minimal. In this case I think he’s hyping it.
I personally believe there IS a video and the left is playing “drip, drip” so that by the time it finally DOES get out, everyone will be ho-humming it as “old news” and it will seem that much less lurid after all the breathless anticipation.

Remember when Clinton was deposed and we had insiders swearing that he “blew up” and was outraged all over the place? Then when the real tape came out it showed him getting only a little flustered.
I think the same thing is happening here.
Or maybe they’ve got Cindy McCain on tape saying something, so they’re getting a precedence of Republican fervor over making it matter, then wham, McCain is the one in trouble.
You have other tens of millions raised in the public day care and indoctrination camps we call public schools who have no parents willing to intervene and teach them otherwise, who have been raised and mesmerized by 60 second sound clips all their lives who are simply buying into the hype, who, short of significant re-education, will vote for him.
You have other millions, who know exactly what Obama represents, and that is the hate-America, domestic enemy element in thois country who know he agrees with their marxist agenda who will also vote for him.
You have the the blacks in this country who, apart from a small percentage who recognize the danger to America and understand the basic fundamental principles of this nation and cherish them, who by the vast majority will vote for him simply because he is black (this group also falls into all three of the other categories).
Against this, we must arouse and amass the fly-overcountry, rural bitter Americans clinging to their guins and religion of all creeds and colors by the tens of millions, and the other tens of millions of Americans of all creeds and colors elsewhere who still cherish this nation and what it stands for to put down this out and out attack on the very heart and soul of our political institutions masked in an upswell of populism, idol worship, and charisma.
And if Republicans had it, why is it that only Democrats (Larry Johnson) claim to have seen it? The ones saying the most about it are Clinton Loyalists.

It makes no sense for Beckel or any partisan dem to discuss this topic/rumor if the supposed tape does not exist. I don’t know if it does, but there’s too much smoke in the air, and where there’s smoke there’s usually a fire.
I’m beginning to think this entire Michelle Obama racist comment rumor is a hoax. Bob Beckel has never been known to be friendly to republicans but seems to be the “whitey” headliner.
First, not too many Democrats go to a Church's bookstore. Second, if they do, I can't see how this particular tape would be very high on someone's to buy list.
