“Obama has way too many blue states to defend “
Yup.
If even the loony left liberals in Connecticut are cheesed off at Obama from the Jeremiah Wright/Pflager hate speech/anti-semitic rants, so much so that McCain is running neck and neck with Obama there, then Obama has no chance of wining in November

The demographics of Connecticut make this less than plausible -- well educated suburban whites + urban minorities = Obama dream team. There are certainly milltown white blue collars a plenty, but they're no more than 30% of the electorate and many of them will hold their noses and vote for the Democrat even if they hate him.
Obama has Ned Lamont's voters plus minorities, which is a substantial winning margin.

I hate living in CT. I am surrounded by liberals. After GWB it’s anybody but a republican Obamaination wins it. Damn, I am still looking for an alternate republic to move to.

McCain will keep all of the red states from 2004 and gain PA. What is interesting to watch - Obama’s lead dwindling in California.
If this continues, Obama is finished before he begins in the general election. But, this is excellent news.
