Feigning indignancy over Cheney’s “West Virginia” remark while ignoring the hypocrisy of countless members of his own party who say much worse, apparently took it out of Sheets.

In other unrelated news, Teddy Kenne-hic-eneddy is recovering from brain surgery today...
To: hole_n_one
He was described as being “lethargic, sluggish and having a fever”
Doctors describe his symptoms as differing from his normal
demented, desicated, immoblilized, and maudlin wanderings.
Reports are that with proper care he will be returned to his normal state shortly once the brain transplant with Teddy Kennedy is completed.

If Justice Stevens were to check out today I suppose the Dems would not let ANY Bush nominee through. He might as well stay where he is.
Heaven forbid Byrd and Kennedy should pass away at the same time. The media coverage would dwarf President Reagan’s funeral probably. This would be part of their plan to sweep Obama right into the White House.

I’d usually laugh at that suggestion but the Clinton legacy certainly has an eerie pattern. It is often as if something dark is protecting the them. I don’t mean a conspiracy but the history that surrounds them and the people who die just when they need to does provide interesting fodder for conversation. We often err on the side of conventional means when thinking about our universe but there are unseen players in this world. We would be blessed if only all of them were human.
To: hole_n_one
Lethargic and sluggish describes to a tee Senator Byrd’s last thirty years in Congress. Perhaps the fever is really the news story.

To: theDentist
A replacement is appointed by the governor. In some states, the choice is restricted to someone of the same party as the predecessor. WV’s governor is a Democrat.

What a disgusting and crude statement to make. At least Byrd voted against amnesty. This is more than McCain ever did.
