CNN American Morning took the global warming agenda to a new level in a May 29 segment. Rather than just warning of the bad things that could happen from this so-called phenomenon, the morning show had a segment featuring a carbon credit salesman who makes money from global warming alarmism.
"American Morning" co-host Kyra Phillips introduced Howard Gould as a "conservationist," "green entrepreneur" and the co-founder of Equator Environmental, LLC. She interviewed him as an expert on proposals to establish a cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions like what is found in the Lieberman-Warner bill (S.2191).
But Phillips didnt reveal what Equator Environmental does. According to its Web site, the organization "specializes in the generation and management of high-quality carbon credits and environmental assets derived from reforestation, forest conservation and sustainable land management."
Phillips also failed to mention Goulds political leanings. He is a blogger for The Huffington Post, a left-wing Web site. His most recent entry was published February 5.

Carbon Trading is the new 527 of the left. This is going to be another ponzi scheme where everyone at the top will get rich, the ones in last will get screwed and the government will pick up the tab.
..carbon credit trader
Is that like Circus Circus? I stayed there once. (sorry, I'm just teasing you for typing too quick)
THIS REMINDS ME OF THE MEDICINE MAN THAT ARRIVE IN TOWN IN A COVERED WAGON SELLING THE CURE ALL TONIC TO WHAT AILES YOU
I’ve been hearing nothing but bad things about this Lieberman-Warner bill. Does this thing have a chance of passing?
They "generate" them, and then they manage them. High quality carbon credits no less!!! Enron was in the wrong business.
And with the magic of this new law the carbon credits market, created out of thin (hot) air, will be worth billions. With all that money changing hands the government will need thousands of new bureaucrats to enforce the regulations and we'll need new carbon taxes to pay for the expenses to administer this boondoggle. $4.00/gallon gas will seem cheap and your electric bills will double or triple. But it's for children, and the polar bear's children.
Did you ever think of what this country will be like when the balance finally tips to the left; when the pre-70’s educated people die off and what remains are those who went through the public indoctrination system from 1970 on? It’s only a matter of time and the libs know it. At least I won’t be here, but I feel terrible for my kids and their kids.
Yep, there seems to be a sucker born every second.
I’m trying to make a quick buck out of this carbon credit scam. Because I’m a vegetarian and I grow a lot of my own food and I also ride my bike and I use public transportation, I’ve built up a lot of “carbon credits”.
I decided one day to sell my “carbon credits” on the local Craigslist to the first schmuck that would be dumb enough to buy them. No takers yet, but I am determined to sell my carbon credits.
Veggie burgers aren’t cheap and I need the money.

Someone should impose gore’s face onto WC’s.
Or select from their wide range of templates and create something else.
Actually, Enron came up with the idea in the first place and pushed with Clinton and Gore...
And the Kyoto global warming treaty? Enron pushed it hard. In 1997, Ken Lay met with Clinton and Gore in the White House and boosted the treaty. In 2000, an Enron memo exclaimed that the treaty would be "good for Enron stock!" The company planned to get rich off of brokering a government-created industry in carbon-credit trading. Also, Enron's coal-fired power plants were all in third-world countries unaffected by the treaty.
What you said.
