One of my daily co-workers and lunch pals son graduated today. He is very proud. I didn’t ask him why he couldn’t attend, but his own story to citizenship is very blessed.
What hilarious pictures! Those cadets will remember their graduation forever!
Thanks for the dose
That first photo reminds me of one from last year with similar reaction from one of the candidates.

Wow. President Bush had such a delightful time today, everyone looked so happy.
Noted - am going to start toasters in a few minutes
The speech was very good. It was raining during it and I think that is why there are not more photos...the photographers from YAHOO were afraid they would melt, I guess. But there are many other great photos of the day.
of course I mean graduate
W went out of his way to make this a special day for these fine young men and women.
W made them W-onderful.
It was really fun posting the Dose today. W went out of his way and interacted humorously with so many of the graduates. God Bless him and them. So many of them will be in harm’s way soon.
I am sorry your co-worker missed the graduation. He must be very proud of his son for choosing to serve his country.
The photos are fun and W really was a good sport. Memories forever for these airmen and their proud families.
Hi snugs...it was such fun posting these photos today. W looked like he was really enjoying himself and the graduates were ecstatic.
God be with these fine young men and women who have chosen to serve their country in these times.
daisyscarlett: Thank you for posting the DOSE tonight — the President is never happier than when he gets to ‘hang out’ with his troops (and vice versa)!

MCCLELLAN — a soulless, spineless, now friendless LOSER of a human being!
MCCLELLAN’S MESS
By INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY
The Presidency: We’re no longer surprised when a longtime confidant of a president comes out with a tell-all book. It’s almost de rigueur. What’s sad, however, is when so much of what the book tells is, in fact, false.

JOHN HINDERAKER (POWERLINEBLOG) SAYS IT BEST:
McClellan was a lousy press secretary. A much better spokesman, TONY SNOW, once told me that the best thing about his job was the opportunity to follow President Bush around and observe his conduct of the Presidency. Tony said that he came away with a deep appreciation of President Bush’s character, judgment and knowledge of the issues. Unless McClellan can come up with some facts to back up his claims—facts have been notably absent from the press accounts I’ve seen of his book—I think Tony’s assessment is considerably more reliable.

Thanks, daisy ... W-onderful day is right! What a great
CIC he is to leave these cadets with such lasting memories as they prepare for a very serious chapter of their lives. God bless them all

I liked the IBD commentary on that dweeb McClellan. I did hear that he had some nice things to say about W in his book but I have not heard them yet and they will not balance out all the lies this loser wrote.
Hi Starwise, Glad you liked the dose. It was a lot of fun sorting all the great photos.
My friend was rescued from Vietnam and made his way through France and was expected to stay there. He was offered the U.S. And accepted. His son is now to be an Airlift Command pilot. It’s quite a story.
I can see that. Sure is sad to see these “lasts.”
I got to post very similar ones last year and that was great fun as well.
