When I was in Mississippi in 2006, photographing the coast hurricane effects, I stayed at a campsite where I met a Mexican. I speak Spanish. He was working for about $4 an hour doing housepainting for a large Atlanta contractor. I asked him if he could choose freely would he rather live in the US or in Mexico. He said he would rather be in Mexico, but he needed the job. I asked what he liked about the US, besides the jobs. He said “Here the police are honest.”

Exactly. The USA of the past, the one that took care of business, is just that, of the PAST. Liberalism, often in the form of political correctness, now controls every aspect of this country, including its defense. Virtually no leader in this country has the spine to stand up and say, "Enough is enough." As a result, whatever the liberals come up with is essentially implemented without question. Common sense has left the building, and I fear nothing short of a cataclysmic loss of American life can bring it back.
There's zero doubt that God is still on the throne and still in control, but it's still painful to watch the deterioration of our great country. If you don't believe it's deteriorating, consider the fact that there's a real chance that someone like Obama could be elected president. The man isn't qualified to run a small town, but tens of millions all but bow down to him.
Our border is a sieve providing free inward passage to countless thugs, criminals, and goodness knows what else, yet nothing is being done about it. In fact, we've jailed people who were trying to protect our border, again in the name of political correctness.
The price of oil has doubled in a year, and still there's no serious discussion of tapping massive oil supplies of our own. Instead we continue to be at the mercy of a region that for the most part hates our guts.
Our children are being indoctrinated to believe that a deviant and incredibly destructive lifestyle is normal, and the indoctrination is taking place in schools that we pay for, and parents in general are clueless and unconcerned.
Can a population this ignorant, this stupid, be in ascendancy? I think not.

I work for a medical billing company. 6 million dollars a month toward illegal immigrants. A drop in the bucket. We ain’t that big. There are bigger companies billing bigger illegal immigration quotas through MediCal. Our own citizens can’t get this kind of care. This is, in my opinion, the single worst problem we face. If McCain MUST be the GOP candidate then we MUST petition him about this matter. Sorry. Better a Rhino than a jackass, folks. And no one else is going to win. Sitting it out is worse. We ain’t gonna teach no one a lesson by sitting on our hands except ourselves.

You should check out Baltimore MD. The citywide murder rate is about 1/4 times the US Iraq casualty rate last year or you are 4 times more likely to get killed as a US soldier in Iraq as a citizen in Baltimore.
If you exclude about 1/2 the neighborhoods in Baltimore, the other half have a casualty rate about equal to the US Iraq casualty rate. Yes they are mostly American citizen blacks.
