Hillary Rodham Clinton is right. She has the broader and whiter political coalition, so she should, by all rights, be the Democratic presidential nominee.
After all, in other realms of the political process, we routinely refer to "black districts" or "Latino districts" and speak of the necessity of those jurisdictions to be represented by black or Latino elected officials. Well, then, because the American population is 66% white, maybe the United States is a de facto white district that should be represented accordingly.
Don't scoff at the idea. Ethnic and racial self-determination have been underlying factors in the formation of modern nations. Israel is one example, along with anti-colonial revolutions and states in the Third World. The principle of ethnic self-determination made its way into the United Nations Charter, and it lurks in contemporary domestic discussions about the political and cultural rights of every kind of minority.
The Clinton campaign's assertion of her electability based on "hardworking white American" voters reveals deep divisions in the Democratic coalition. But it isn't a sign of the resurgence of white supremacy in America. Rather, it is a formal re-articulation of whiteness as a social category and a racial interest group.

The bigger question is, will all the new arrivals turn American into what they left behind? It has been impossible that many cultures would ever have produced political and economic systems that would have brought freedom and opportunity to most of their members. Will those from failed cultures begin to unwittingly drag down the culture of the USA, in the name of ethnic pride, down to the level of what was left behind?
Yep. I always remember a documentary I saw years ago about one of those Amazon tribes. One B&W film clip featured some very animated gibbering and gesticulation, seemingly at the edge of violent confrontation. Well, it was a trading parley. The subtitle read, “... What about me! Don’t you think that I want a hammock too!” .... YEAH!
That you ask those questions indicates they haven’t done a good job of integrating into the melting pot yet and aren’t likely to begin to do so as the temperature rises.
We’re looking at the balkanization of America, there will be areas carved out by culture, color and language and there will be continual bloody fighting between the groups.

And a great many of them believe (or must believe out of pride) that the USA and its white people exploited and stole all their affluence from poor nations, and except for that the poor nations would be the affluent.
So, there’s nothing unique about the USA, at least according to many from failed societies. We just stole it all and they’re gonna take it back, as is their right.
Or they’ll just turn parts of the USA into what they left behind.

Illegal immigration has made things worse, but citizens -- those who can vote -- are responsible for allowing government, government-run education, and government-distorted health care to descend to the depths they have. If we had decent schools, the graduates might have figured out what was happening to them and put a stop to it.

The sad thing is that there is practically no way to stop this. Unlike France or Italy, my guess is that our nation has no will to stop this whatsoever. We’ve already destroyed our oneness. Minority populations are too large for our politicians to ever consider not placating them.
It would take another September 11. Or at least a move away from familial immigration to immigration based on skill, which is a much better move, anyway.
Otherwise we’re going to continue to be swamped with minority groups who place very little emphasis on education and come from societies who have failed and who failed throughout history.
That said, when you look at the number of babies produced in the United States, it’s pretty evident it’s already too late.
What we have most to fear is not white decline but a failure by new immigrants to assimilate.

What the hell is oneness? Do you mean the oneness that the European explorers decided to share with the native peoples of this great land. Or the oneness that the Europeans who trafficked African slaves to this country decided to share with them?
Tell me about the day when Argentinians and Mexicans and Bolivians and Puerto Ricans all consider themselves equal.
The last thing America needs is Balkanization along ethnic/racial lines. We conservatives need to make sure that America is divided along philosophical lines, and to that end, we need to pound home how the socialist ideals of the Democrats are just a cover for the plantation ideals of the elitists, “We know what’s best for you”.

I’d say what we have to fear is the decline of the values that made successful nations successful. And, for the past 500 years of history, the successful nations have overwhelmingly been those with cultural roots in Europe, and the people happen to be white.
We don’t have to debate at all which nations have been overwhelmingly successful. We only have to note the direction of the movement of people, legal and illegal.
Culture and values matter. Zimbabwe is one of the prime examples, much celebrated as the British influence was forced out and replaced by different ways of doing things. South Africa and parts of the US and Europe are places to watch.
Assimilation is an old idea that doesn’t really apply when such large numbers of newcomers from other cultures are allowed to enter legally and illegally. What we see now are mini enclaves of most any culture with large enough numbers to create a Little ______.
I don’t think 99.99%, more like 80% are ethnic Han. You’re right — they are chauvanistic and many of the other groups in CHina have been assimilated — like the Manchu, Jurgen, Mongols, Tai, Tibetans, Sichuanese, etc.
Whites can maintain a majority but if the majority of the Whites are of the Clinton/Pelosi/Kennedy/

Very likely, and history tells us this will be so.
Between 1890 and 1920 the US imported 20 million immigrants from eastern Europe. Many were the proto-Marxists of their day. (The newspapers referred to this group as the “red flag wavers.”}
They gave us the income tax, direct election of senators, women’s sufferage, militant unions, the rise of the bureaucratic dictatorship and the destruction of many outstanding capitalist ventures, such as Calumet & Hecla Mining Co.
Importing 60 million new socialists, communists and welfare bums will not help this republic a bit.
One hundred years ago we had no welfare programs and we got the ambitious who came here for the opportunities to succeed. Now we get people who come here for the welfare benefits. People on welfare can afford to have lots of kids, while the middle class can't afford kids because tey're paying taxes to support a bunch of parasites
The only solution is to abolish welfare. If the underclass women had to support their own kids by working McDonalds, they would get themselves sterilized.
This huge demographic shift is primarily due to immigration, legal and illegal.
Those same "Europeans" gave us the world's oldest democracy whose contributions to mankind across a broad spectrum of areas have made this world a better place to live. America is more than just a country, it is an idea that has universal appeal. The fact that millions of people around the globe are trying to enter this country any way they can speaks volumes about our "oneness."
Yes. And the sooner we start choosing some areas for our autonomous area the better. It's ain't gonna be Los Angeles!! Here are some suggestions and organizations.

Face it we are hopelessly out numbered by state power loving freaks in most places. Either we gather together to amplify our power, or we see the never-ending march of Socialism across the entire American landscape. Yes, we have to give up some territory.

A poor man’s riches are his children though. Every time I go to visit my mom in NY, ther are more and more people moving in, more and more kids and I can totally see the white and black birth rates taking the great plunge together in the big cities. OTOH, the young white girls where I are have their kids young and lots at a time, three at a time. I hate to say this but it’s so strange to see large white families then go to New York and see one or two kids. So there’s my race/ethnic commentary for the weekend!
China has a lot of different ethnic tribes as does most of Asia. They may all look alike to you but they know otherwise.

Water is also a big concern. Scratch Los Angeles, Phoenix, etc. Without imported water arriving from far far away, they are Mad Max in a month.
The ability to grow food locally is also important, if the transportation infrastructure collapses, and the local Safeway is not restocked.
Kind of like a Gult’s Gulch? Just what I’ve been waiting for!
