There has been speculation that Hillary Clinton might drop out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination following today's primaries in Kentucky and Oregon, even as Clinton herself has insisted that she will fight on.
Now her campaign has released a new ad in South Dakota, where voters don't have their say until June 3rd. It's a signal that Clinton has no plans to leave the race anytime soon – one that the campaign underlines in its press release touting the ad, which notes that the spot "comes two weeks before South Dakota voters head to the polls."
The 30-second ad, "Falling Through," opens with a shot of Clinton giving a speech.
"The Bush economy is like a trapdoor," Clinton says. "Too many families are one pink slip, one missed mortgage payment, one medical diagnosis away from falling through and losing everything."
"The oil companies, the predatory student loan companies, the insurance companies and the drug companies have had seven years of a president who stands up for them," she continues. "I intend to be a president who stands up for all of you."

At least a few times a week FReepers post articles from the press about Clinton throwing in the towel, making an announcement about quitting, yada, yada. And every week there are those of us that say she will never quit, she has no incentive to quit and she has a good chance of getting the nomination.

You are kidding, right? She is POWER MAD. POWER is all she wants as the frothing Marxist she is. If she feels that would get her one step closer to the Oval Office in 2012, she would do it...biting her tongue all the way. The Clintons NEED to be parasites on the government, and they want POWER.
