Italian American conservative here too, and I can’t stand Joy. She was always a big lefty. You’ll never hear her say a word of criticism about Teddy or the rest of the Kennedys though Old Joe was known to be soft on Hitler. Joy and the rest of the loons just believe any of the wacky conspiracy theories about the Bushes. Somehow those wealthy Republicans are bad while the billionaire Dems are OK. If I’m not mistaken, the Kennedy clan could probably buy and sell the Bushes 100 times over.
It is true, as some say, that GWB and the Republicans have helped bring on their own downfall. But it certainly has not helped to have not only the “news” media, but also this entertainment media totally in bed with the left for decades. No wonder Republicans could barely maintain their majority status for the short time they had it. The benefits the Dems and the left have gotten over the decades in free advertising is probably incalculable. And then they have the nerve to talk about a right wing attack machine!

Was Prescott Bush really closely aligned with Nazi Germany? Hardly. The late Prescott Bush was a director of Union Banking Corp., whose founder, Fritz Thyssen initially supported Hitler’s rise to power. Thyssen cut ties with the Nazi regime in 1938 due to persecution of Catholics and Jews. The documents, declassified in 2003, "do not show any evidence Bush aided that effort."
But, but, but,,,Prescott worked at the bank Thyssen founded. Therefore, in Behars twisted thinking, that still makes Bush Jr. disqualified to speak to Jewish people.

As Justin McCarthy points out in the posted article, the alleged Prescott Bush connections to the Nazis have never been documented. Moreover, the current president's grandfather had a long career as a US Senator and his record there indicates absolutely no pro-Nazi nor antisemitic statements or activity. And a recent PBS (i. e., left-biased) biography of Bush 41 mentions absolutely nothing about even whispers along these lines in its segments on Prescott Bush.
On the other hand, it is well documented that Joe Kennedy, as FDR's ambassador to pre-WWII Britain, had a long record of statements and communications advising appeasement of the Nazi regime, so much so that he became an embarrassment to Roosevelt and was fired from his position.
