The gas sulphur could be inserted into the earth's stratosphere to keep out the sun's rays and slow global warming, a process called global dimming. Because that's working so well on Venus.

Never mind that air regs for the past 30 years have been specifically demanding lower sulfur emmissions. How would he propose that the EPA scrap 30 years of dogma and the multi-billions spent installing sulfur reducing technologies on the nation's smokestacks?
Has he ever heared of "acid rain"? God help us what a moron.
