Gore wins $1 million prize from Israeli group May 19 04:29 PM US/Eastern By ARON HELLER Associated Press Writer TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) - Al Gore received a $1 million prize on Monday for his environmental work from an Israeli fund.
The Dan David Foundation awarded the former vice president its annual "present" prize for alerting the world to the crisis from the overuse of fossil fuels. It also gave prizes in "past" and "future" categories.
The Nobel laureate received the award at a ceremony at Tel Aviv University.
In his address, Gore said, "We do face a planetary emergency. The phrase sounds shrill to many, but it is unfortunately quite accurate."
Gore said 10 percent of the prize would go to young researchers and the rest to the Alliance for Climate Protection, an advocacy group he confounded and which works to change public opinion worldwide about the urgency of the climate crisis.

We do indeed -- the pseudoscientists and fear-mongers are running the asylum.
Things are getting to be really bad when The Dan David Foundation and the Nobel Prize have to stoop to this inanity or simply skip giving an award this year.
I have GOT to figure out how to cash in on this Global Warming thing. There’s far more money to be made than I could possibly make doing honest work.
He’ll be replacing P.T.Barnum in the history books.
That is EXACTLY what I've been thinking. I can barely afford to drive and keep the house cool - maybe I can at least sell carbon credits. Al Gore really latched on to the grand scam - a way for all the governments to take more money for themselves and all those like him who skim boatloads of money. And....they get prizes for it! What a deal!
If Israelis have money to p away like this maybe we should review the amount of aid we send over there.

Of course, once that occurs, there will be no more Global Climate Change, as the US is reduced to sending money to China for carbon credits to feed 50% of Mexico while Australia welcomes[?] Chinese immigrants and the non-Eurabia takes over the parts of Britain the Dar-al-Islam doesn't want.
What a formerly beautiful world. Just think, it was for this goal that we have poured untold wealth into controlling polution, foreign aid, disaster relief and last but certainly not least, the United Nations.
I hope the Israelis had a refund clause. They should get their money back in about 10 years!

Just keep making those outrageous statements, Mr. Gore. No one in the MSM will ever call you on it and by the time the average citizen sees how much of a joke global warming is, you’ll be worth $500 million.

All this proves is that there are some leftist Israelis dumb enough to fall fore Gore’s theory without any scientific proof of it.
We may be or we may be not be.
Politicos in Washington or any other individuals who promote themselves as the the answer to the emergency are promoting themselves as prophets and are doing nothing but promoting personal gain progressively.
When it goes beyond human capability and we have to rely upon dictate in speak.... the dictators sh!t stinks too.
After all, he's only human.
