It's one of the perks of dominance. We generally mention race when we speak of nonwhites.

More than half of West Virginia Democratic voters -- 95% of whom are white -- said they would be dissatisfied if Obama won the nomination.
Is this white supremacy? No, in fact it might be its opposite, an acknowledgment that white privilege has its limits. With immigration and globalization reformulating who we are as a nation, it isn't the white elites that are threatened by the changes; rather, it's the nearly 70% of whites who are not college educated who figure among the most insecure of Americans. Many feel that their jobs are being outsourced or taken by immigrants -- legal or otherwise -- and that their culture is being subsumed. When Clinton promises to make their voices heard, she's appealing not to Anglo-Saxon racial triumphalism but to the fear of white decline.

The stats you’ll see about black/white income disparity do not account for the lower median age of blacks, nor for the number of years of full time work.

Except for those employed by the government, college educated, graduate, and professionally educated whites and minorities are dependent on the less educated as clients, customers and patients. These people would be fools to vote for Obama, who not only promises huge tax increases, but obviously could care less about the plight of these less educated workers.

Now my ladyfriend Stacie once racked a dirty bike ridin’ hippy clean off his bicycle for punching her car roof in a parking lot and yelling “Go$^^#m Republican C#@%”, I guess after seeing her Bush 2000 sticker.(This was during the FL recount).
Somehow , in 5 seconds, she slammed her car to stop, ran around the side of the car, shoved him off balance so he racked himself , and then knocked him rib cage side into the curb. She told his “Dirty hippie A$$” to never touch a persons property! All the while a crowd gathered and when a in town “Rasta” tried to intervene she told him she had more for him if he kept talking. He got real quite and retreated to his coffee shop.It was over so fast all I can say is “Wow”.

The white working class in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Illinois typically vote Dem. It is only in Protestant, non-Union areas that the six packers vote GOP.
